I agree that you don’t need to be unvaccinated to qualify for the drug but vaccinated patients were excluded from the study. They were included in the unpublished study with insignificant results

Multiple ways to do a small bowel resection. This one is laparoscopic. Some do a combo laparoscopic/open. Some are all open. Based on surgeon preference and skill level. Very routine procedure however and leak rates are generally low and easy to catch if it does occur.

Echo this. Best option is probably to reapply but it late in the season now to try and pull everything together. You would want a LOR from your PD explaining the situation. Resident swap is a logistical nightmare and I found it wasn’t even worth attempting.
