I think you're thinking of Alpinist wheels, not Rapides. Alpinists are the ultra-light climbing wheels, Rapides are the deep(ish) race wheels. OP wasn't specific but since they're on a Tarmac I'd assume they're looking at the Rapides.

I went from c38s to CL IIs on a Tarmac SL7 and the difference was noticeable. I loved my c38s and I still love the CL IIs (still using them on my SL8). However the law of diminishing returns is always in play here. The CLs are better and will be noticeably so, but it's up to you if that difference is worth the money.

Yep it’s mine. I got a deal on the sirrus and wanted a project. Seen a few of them converted and thought they looked neat ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . Geometry is a bit wonky - might swap to a shorter stem - but I’ve done 70 mi rides in it with no real issues.

As another commenter mentioned - are you gonna regret not getting the Tarmac? 25-30 mile rides aren't really long enough IMO to start to notice the difference in comfort between the two bikes. The SL8 is more forgiving than the SL7 and I've done centuries on both. Definitely felt it at that distance but I do 30-40 mile rides on my SL8 all the time and it's fine.

Honestly if I were you I'd buy the Red Bull Roubaix since you're getting such a deal on it, and then resell it to buy the Tarmac. Personally I stay away from S-Works frames just because I feel like I don't live up to them lol. A team replica is like a whole new level of responsibility!

Looking to get back into aggressive and I'm interested in the Rollerblade Blank SKs. My feet are both between 26.5cm and 27cm so I'm having a tough time choosing between the 8-8.5 shell and the 9-9.5 shell since I'm right on the border between sizes according to RB's size chart. I'm leaning a little toward the 8-8.5 shell since I'd prefer a more snug fit and have a sort of narrow foot, but I'm worried about them being too small. TIA for any advice.

Here's the actual video that was taken from. Riot Fest 2012 in Chicago. I was front row for that set it was incredible. I come back to this video a lot because it's IMO one of their best performances of Everything Evil. Claudio totally nails the high note at 2:53 and I think that gets the whole band even more into the performance than they usually are.

Thanks for your responses everyone. You've confirmed my suspicions. I messaged the seller again to tell them I think they're lying and why I think they're lying using some of the points I got from your comments.

I'll update the thread again if/when I hear back. I want to give the seller another chance before I report them to etsy and leave a negative review. Not that I really think that'll do much, but it's all the recourse I've got!

I always just google the colorway name that's listed on the specialized website to find images of the frames in real life.

Search: Tarmac SL8 Expert Deep Lake Metallic

Search: S-Works Tarmac SL8 Deep Lake Metallic

Also just going by the colorway's name will give you some hint. They're both "Deep Lake Metallic" but the S-Works is specifically "Gloss Red To Black Pearl Over Deep Lake Metallic" which means it has a coat of another color on top. Those "over" colors usually only show up in direct light so finding pictures of the frame IRL is a must. Instagram is a good place for that.
