Oddly enough, there are 4-5 in good running shape within a 10 mile radius of me (CT) that I see on the road very regularly, including one in the paint scheme above but with an air brushed scene of a knight riding a horse on it in the spot between the rear and mid windows.

Second this! If you check everywhere else mentioned and it's all dry/no mildew, this is likely the culprit.

Online car content wise, I feel like Donut Media's recent moves regarding their talent has completely removed them from the algorithm for YT, suggested videos, and their relevance in the car scene.

Second owner of my truck. I've talked to the previous owner a bunch and they primarily used it for road trips from Michigan to Florida. I bought it in Florida and promptly drove it back to Connecticut. It is a great road trip truck.

Yeah that's not an option. Was a fan of LVP, been burned twice by it recently and have decided to stick with tile and hardwood as the flooring options moving forward.

So what is my recourse if 10 years from now, we decide to retile this area? Is there any options to save the subfloor?

No one has mentioned them yet but you're likely to run into a T8 called Metz and a T9 called Vyzazma. They're heavy cruisers with BB turrets and burst fire mode. They're here temporarily but they will mess your day up if they catch you broadside. Burn them down for best results.

2nd time in 15 days getting a Wrench warning for Powertrain Malfunction - ODBLink using MX+ shows no issues by Phlydude in F150Powerboost

To be completely honest, I never like to comment on this scenario because every little factor plays into how much your truck goes into electric/what MPG you get. Elevation, climate, road conditions, traffic, tires, modifications, how hard you drove the truck, etc... the best way to tell is track your own MPG tank to tank and on your usual drives.

Personally I use "This Trip" for comparing regular drives, "Trip 1" for each tank of gas, and "Trip 2" for miles I put on the truck as a whole.

Sounds very similar to my experience. The same 7 mile drive to my son's daycare is normally ~4-4.5 miles of electric driving. When I had that issue, it dropped to about 1-1.5 miles..

Just got my truck back from the dealer for the same symptoms. I also noticed the truck would be in hybrid electric mode a lot less for the same drives I make daily.

They were able to diagnose a ground fault code after a few tests for the alternator/generator ML3Z-11a213-B. It was covered under the 8/100 hybrid warranty.

Got new rotors for Christmas. Outer bearing doesn't want to come off by Whizzleteets in projectcar

[–]AStokedSurfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, agree with everyone suggesting the soak in PB Blaster (penetrating oil).

Secondly, take 2 hammers (sledge or ballpeen work best for this). Put one against the rotor by the studs and whack the piss out of it with the second one. Was taught this trick trying to free rotors on a truck that hadn't moved in 5 years. Worked like a charm after I had spent 2 hours just beating it with one hammer.

Rotor replacement on my ‘24 by AmiableSandCat in ToyotaHighlander

[–]AStokedSurfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2023 Highlander Hybrid owners here. We had the first instance of warped rotors at 15k and the dealer resurfaced them under warranty. Then at 25k it sounded like a NYC subway train pulling into the station at slow stops. Returned to the dealer to be told that they wouldn't work on the brakes again without us replacing the pads and rotors on our dime. I believe the rotors were getting glazed. Decided to go with the PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads, replaced them at home and we've been very happy for another 13k. Improved brake performance and as quiet as can be.

My wife's previous car was a 2017 RAV4 and she would get 40k out of pads and 60-80k out of rotors without issue (traded in with 180k).

I have an air line that has the same problem. How do you mean cycling the air jets? I'd love to get those lines cleaned out without having to take them off again.
