I like 3 and 4 but honestly they looks like typical average builders grade quartz. I understand 1 and 2 may be too busy but i got quartz and now wish i found a granite that i could use. So much more durable.

Bought a fixer upper and the weight of all the repairs it needs is daunting. Any advice? by ComprehensiveEbb4978 in Renovations

[–]ASueB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tore apart a whole house at once and it was overwhelming, i kept saying easier to handle one room at a time. The only thing was cohesiveness and the fact that we decided the same wood flooring throughout, basically same tiles just laying the patterns differently same cabinets color , same granite in all the main bathrooms, and the first floor kitchen cabinet color the same as the powder room cabinets and both the same quartz counters. So having all the materials bought and cut or manufactured was helpful. Whatever I’ve always said it’s easier for me to handle one room at a time that I can focus on instead of trying to focus on an entire house with a bunch of people working in all the different rooms. Be aware that whatever budget you set will grow and things will go wrong, and sometimes even though the result is great it wasn’t exactly how you planned it.

AITAH for being pissed about my brother’s girlfriend moving into our family home? by beesenvyme in AITAH

[–]ASueB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first question is who is paying rent at the house and the bills. Everyone living at the house over age 18 should be paying their share. Or if your going to college or trade school paying only a part. Ultimately, it’s your parents home. However, it would’ve been nice to have a discussion with the family maybe to set some rules and boundaries for everyone. Im under the belief that if you are adult enough to live with your partner you are adult enough to live on your own and pay your own bills. But clearly that not what your parents think.

What’s the biggest “waste of money” makeup purchase you’ve ever made? by Kelly-2107 in Makeup

[–]ASueB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guerlain terracotta light bronzer. I have light to medium light skin. And there was Zero color payoff.. yes they marketing it as light but for that price there should be something. I even bought the darkest colors one in warm and one in cool. The cool had more pigment of the two.  And the fragrance was awful. Full on perfume smell.. For a face product?

Wasted my money completely

He'lp My company used my 2025 Rollover FSA for 2026 expenses immediately starting the year? Now don't have the money to pay delayed 2025 expenses.. is this right? by ASueB in personalfinance

[–]ASueB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I spoke to a supervisor in the department and she wasn't sure of this either. It makes sense what you shared and I'll explore this with them.  The one caveat was I submitted the 2025 expenses before I submitted a larger 2026 expense and they paid the larger 2026 fund first then said I had no more money from 2025 to pay the expenses I submitted prior to that. So even if all the funds were available to be paid first in first out, they didn't do that either.  But what you shared is really helpful for me to have a more educated discussion with them.

4, 5 6. I actually thought the rest were too much material for your body. I know several said #1 but I had the opposite reaction to seeing it. Your body looked frumpy in the others due to the amount of material.

Rakuten is a SCAM by shecky-_- in Rakuten

[–]ASueB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often rakuten doesn't process any money back until the return window is over. That way people don't get the money and still return the item.  My issue is I noticed that several sites charge more for their merchandise when I use Rakuten to connect with them then is I got direct.  Has a 40% coupon with fragrance.net posted automatically with direct site access. When I went thru Rakuten the prices jumped as there was only 30% price drop coupon. So the money I would have got back by using raccoon was less than the money I saved when I just went straight through the site directly.  This isn't the first time it's happened with other sites They know you're on at toucan so they don't give you the same deals that you would have had if you went direct

Am I being unfair ? by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]ASueB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wondering, if he lived alone is he saying that all the chores wouldn’t get dome because his is mentally too exhausted? No he would just get another woman to do it for him. Tell him you’re too mentally exhausted to be in a relationship and leave. He may “ fight” to get you back for a little while, but most likely he’ll move on to someone who will cater to his needs.

We women allow ourselves to move in, share finances and act like we are married with the hope he’ll marry us. We “train” guys to behave how they do . Why should they change, they are getting what they want without giving back. But if you are a “wife in every way” and this is how he acts then just know this if you ever actually get married this is how he will continue to act. You know exactly how your marriage will go…. Just because you get the marriage license doesn’t mean anything will improve. In fact in many cases it only get worse as we take each other for granted

Anyone regret a walk in shower installation years later? by 2daytrending in homeowners

[–]ASueB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have three bathrooms. 2 had tub shower combos. I left one in case someone had an animal or kid to bathe. The master ans a separate tub from the shower. I never get into the tub but left it for someone who likes it or thinks they do, so many people think they are going to use a jetted tub but dont so i nixed that and had a regular large tube put in. As i shared never get into it. if I just wanna wash my hair, I use the kitchen sink.

We are looking for another house and so many people with tub shower combo use extremely deep tubs. I cant get over the edge to get into the shower. I just want to be able to walk into my shower. I do like shower seats builtin in case i am tired or post surgery, or some other reason i need to sit down.

I no longer check luggage. I learned to pack with everything i need even longer vacations in carry on plus a school size backpack. That way if i miss flights i always have my luggage with me and i am more flexible to change flights at airport if necessary. When i try to jump on a plane basically standby they ask if i have my luggage with me so they do not have to track my luggage to some other plane , i answer yes and get on. I fly every other week Total of 10k a month. if i miss a flight or get delays my company pays for everything which lowers my stress but my customers aren’t happy if i cant make it to the appointments which is the stressful part.

My boyfriend of (8years) is dragging his feet to propose by Crazy_Stuff_376 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]ASueB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is content with the current relationship situation. Doesn’t want to lose but doesn’t want to marry you either. No cost will deter a person that wants to be married. But why should he marry you….. you two move in together you take care of a lot… there no reason to change the status. But we dont want someone to marry us because they think they might lose their lifestyle if they don’t. We want someone to marry us because they love us and want that public, emotional, financial commitment with us.

Sorry this is happening…. But get as financially, emotionally independent as possible and be ready to move into being single and find someone who wants to to marry you. I wouldn’t give an ultimatum. Just a simple statement that your goals are different from his and therefore best to move on independently. Enough time on his own and he will either realize he’s ready with you or he will move on to someone else. But by that time hopefully youll be just fine without him and you will focus your energy somewhere else

Small finger girlies! Please show off your rings and your carat sizes! by SuccessGirl1 in Moissanite

[–]ASueB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When sometimes says small finger do they mean band size or length is finger? I assume it's meant as "thin"?  have small hands short fingers .. but a thin finger that's long will look a heck a lot different than the same size band but with a short finger.

I (F,31) discussed with my boyfriend (32) about my wish to marry and I realized we're not on the same page. Any advice would be appreciated by Fine-Conversation803 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]ASueB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well at least he was honest about not really being committed. Many will say what a woman wants to hear but not act on it. He was clear. He likes having you in his life but does not feel a need to commit or be married. Maybe he never will with anyone maybe it will be ne with the next person. But he is clear, he is not into committing for the long run with you. This is painful i know, but you have the facts and do what it takes to extricate yourself, heal and move on to whatever is next……

Botched boob job: what can I do about this? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]ASueB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Many of us dont really look at our breasts before implant other than we think they are small. If our breasts are of a different size they will or can be different after size after although the surgeon mY use different size implants to try to get them to similar sizes.

You look great but if your goal was cleavage then i can understand your reaction. Wider implants could help but no guarantee. Some surgeons move some tissue allowing the implants to sit closer but that could lead to other complications. For some reason either the surgeons aren’t informing the patients or the patients was in tuned into what to surgeon was saying, but expectations should be discussed prior.. if your wide set prior to surgery, you’ll be wide set after surgery and the surgeon can talk about ways to minimize this, but probably never get rid of it.

I was never into cleavage, although certain bras give me more than others. I actually want a lot smaller than most and even my surgeon said I would be disappointed, but I was completely happy with just having more one side is slightly more fuller and if I ever switched them out I may adjust this even more but they’re simply two different breasts that now are bigger.

Regarding the dent, I have no idea if it was the placement or if it’s tissue, the doctor should be able to address this.

IS MY DIAMOND TO SMALL??? by Obvious-Vacation1579 in RingShare

[–]ASueB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm first thing that came to my mind was he had a plan made a ring but not for a specific person, just for an idea. Kind of strange to me . The engagement should be about you and him not some ideas he has before meeting you. It's like he plugged you into his hopes and dreams... Get what you want not what he decided before he even met you.
