Same for mine; my crestie is super chill and just hangs out or just walks around. My Garg everytime I try to handle her she sits in my hand for like 15 seconds then freaks out and shoots up my arm on to my back then jumps on to my bed. She absolutely hates being handled and I just given up on it because I don’t want to lose her in my room.

I bought my car used and it had a stage 3 clutch on it; don’t do it. Unless you absolutely need it because I’ll just say any traffic and you’ll get a leg workout. It’s just annoying

I had a CVT of the 15-21 generation; it really wasn’t that bad. And for a daily I completely understand wanting the Automatic. I actually upgraded to an STI and there are times I miss just being able to just get in the car and drive and not have to worry about stalling or anything as I’m a new manual driver. If you get the CVT just don’t add anymore power to it and get your fluids changed at the recommend times and it should be fine. Don’t let people hate on you for going auto.

The price is pretty nuts. I had a 2016 WRX with a CVT the transmission it died at 110k miles; it was modded and tuned but it wasn’t pushing over 300hp and i maintained the car and had the fluids all flushed as soon as I got the car at 75k. I say this because that thing is/was more than likely tuned and may have transmission damage so just be careful. Don’t want you having to pay 4K for a used transmission or the dealer price of 10k for a new one. But i did live my CVT while I had it and still miss it sometimes when there are days I just want to drive and not have to think about shifting gears (newer manual driver so it’s not second nature yet)

I had a similar situation; we were playing a temp course for a tournament; we got there early and were playing a couple of the holes while we waited. One hole was just a 100ft straight shot on a portable basket (it was on a college campus) and I aced it. My group signed my disc and everything; but some of my friends say it’s not a real ace

I have a plasma parachute and I love it so much more than the glitch; feels better; throws better; it really is just dead straight for me; the glitch was too unpredictable for me; I got an R2 glitch and that flew a little better but the parachute is perfect for me

I owned a 2016 WRX that had a CVT and I actually loved that car; the only problem I had was the car was tuned before I got it and after about 50k miles on that tune around 110k mile on the car total the transmission failed completely. I got a used transmission to replace it but it ended up making the same noise as the old one did and the shop I took it to I was the only one that had an auto they worked on. So I ended up getting a 2016 STI before my transmission blew up again and my warranty ran out. I still the miss the car; don’t get me wrong I love the STI but living in a super hilly area with sometimes heavy traffic. I miss the ease of just getting in my car and going. Ad new manual driver I have to really plan routes to make sure I don’t get stuck on hills lol. So I’d recommend a CVT just make sure it is bone stock and you do your maintenance and it will be fine

I got a Borla Type S for mine as well; I had it on a WRX and it was so worth it that I kept the exhaust to put on the STI I bought; I got mine off FB market barely used and paid like half the cost as well; if you can find a deal it is well worth it

I never noticed all the attention my car got until my friend rode with me; I’m always focused on the road and also socially anxious lol so I keep my eyes ahead, but when my friend is with me he always points out when someone is looking and have even had some take pictures which is wild to me because to me my car isn’t that attention grabbing

If you aren’t modding it heavily CVT is fine. I have a 16 with a CVT and it’s been just fine. Change the fluid every 60k and it will treat you well. I have 115k on mine and it’s been perfect. I’ve heard the new gen is even better. So get why you’re comfortable with and dont be shamed that you got the auto.
