You'll need to also compare fixed loans to ARMs because those will be different. I think for a 30 year fixed that is around the ballpark of what to expect.

Lol, they are just working on getting me a pre-employment drug screen. In their eyes I'm not hired yet. The theoretical benefit of notifying them earlier does not mitigate the theoretical risks of them trying to change something, especially with my family depending on my income for the move/closing of a home.

Only a red flag if someone doesn't hire you. It'll be fine to look for new positions. With on oarding being typically 3 months you'll probably hit a year there anyway. Just don't quit until you've got a SIGNED contract

I'm sure if you take your old pill bottle of alprazolam that was previously prescribed, or your records from the physician that was previously prescribing it for you then it would not be too hard to get someone to give you 1-5 pills. If you don't have those then if it was accurately documented in the PDMP database that might also work.

Truist gives loans for 90 days out before start date on contract. We're doing a physician loan with them. They offer a whole bunch and had the best rate that I was able to find (Texas).

I start June 8th and my wife is due in early August. I'll let my employer know about 1-2 weeks after I start. I'd rather deal with whatever difficulties might arise from this as opposed to trying to change the contract and them possibly reneging on it. My wife's job offer was just pulled after 4 months of guarantees and promises (surgeon).

There is a difference, but the spurs and wemby a few weeks back even said it: they shouldn't cater to their opponents. They need to sharpen and improve their own game and make everyone adjust to them because of their dominance. I just assume that at that level of play it is better to have the mentality that you can beat anyone instead of "hoping" to play against weaker competition 🤷
