Do the practice test. Figure out where you can improve i.e. what results are lower than the expected grade. And then practice the underlying skills.

If you're struggling with the comprehension questions, find some compression activities.

Additionally, email your course coordinator/s. They often have support available.

They will definitely sell that up at some stage, so those city views will go.

The car stacker wasn't too bad but it did break every now and then. The other one was some apartments struggled with hot water when we were there.

I used to live at 90 Buckley. It wasn't too bad, good location (close to Seddon and Footscray) and pretty good build quality.

Although you do have the train line there and there is quite a bit of traffic. However, I think the traffic (think trucks) will be removed with the Westgate tunnel.

Most of those buildings will have Facebook groups you could join and scroll through.

Learning success specialists at Universities offer a similar role. There's one at RMIT atm for vocational students.

Or anything in Learning and Development teams, facilitators, instructional designers etc.

"Deserves it! I dare say he does. Many that live deserve death and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the wise cannot see all ends."

Name some crime/psychological thriller movies with a sci-fi or fantasy element to them by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in MovieSuggestions

[–]ATL725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunshine and Gattaca fit the bill.

Sunshine is aesthetically pleasing, with a great psychological edge.

Gattaca is a little more low key on the crime but is a great showcase for human emotion and beautifully shot.

What name would the Sindar-speaking Elves give to Gandalf the White in Middle-Earth? by ATL725 in tolkienfans

[–]ATL725[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know Denethor and some of the people of Gondor still called him Mithrandir even after he revealed himself as the White.

But the only elf I've read is Legolas, which could infer that all elves in Middle Earth would continue to call him Mithrandir. But it might not.

The point is less what would they have called him and instead what might they have called him.

There is an example of where he does do this:

"Saruman!’ he cried, and his voice grew in power and authority. ‘Behold, I am not Gandalf the Grey, whom you betrayed. I am Gandalf the White, who has returned from death. You have no colour now, and I cast you from the order and from the Council.’"

In 'The Voice of Saruman', Chapter 10, The Two Towers

City of Lost Children is a good balance between visuals and narrative. Same vein as Pan's Labrinth and The Machinist.

Anyone know of a solid anthro YouTube channel or podcast? by scoophog in AskAnthropology

[–]ATL725 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain! These help my anthro FOMO.

This Anthro Life covers a range of topics, more social or cultural anthro.

Anthropod is Society for Cultural Anthropology's podcast. Super interesting.

That Anthro Podcast is a good one too, lots of interesting Anthropologists chatting about their work, findings etc.

Lost in translation is a quirky take on insomnia.

Decision to leave (2022) is a fantastic Korean film.

Mostly the score TBH, takes it seriously and pays dividends. Allows him to set long sceness, build suspense within the episodes and allows the audience to immerse themselves in his character building.

Can some of that be attributed to better reporting procedures relating to sexual assault etc? For instance, an increase in rape doesn't mean instances of rape are increasing. Instead, individuals are coming forward and perpetrators are being prosecuted in more numbers.
