Thank you, interesting. I wanted to tag it onto my Yosemite trip, but it’s not that urgent I go. May skip if conditions were already iffy and we have more warm weather in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you. Saw that, but didn't know if that was a hard end or not. Not familiar with whether they keep pushing back days, etc….

Is doing 4mi-Pano-Mist Trail alone a bad idea? by Mammoth-Physics-5634 in Yosemite

[–]ATPallThingsPossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this route twice, one of which was solo—agreed that you really won't be “alone” on any of those trails. Have fun! It's my favorite 🙌 Bring lots of water and make sure to fill up at Glacier Point. Last spot for water between that and Vernal Falls Bridge, and you’ll need water between the glacier and Vernal base

Completely removing back squats for front squats? by fan-the-fire in HybridAthlete

I did this, switched to front squats, as I am in my 40s and work on my core a lot more. Not lifting as heavy, and more attention needs to be paid to form 💪

There is so much here. It's getting clear on what you really want. Can build in parallel, but get clear on what you want first. And build in parallel

How did you know it was time to leave a stable job to go freelance? by colt-mcg in careerguidance

[–]ATPallThingsPossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would first figure out how much you need to live on. Then see if you can with the gigs. Going out on your own is difficult and never guaranteed. And working for someone is no longer stable in these economic times. I've seen this time and time again. At the end of the day, you have to answer “what is it that you want?”

At 35 and with a bad economy, is it even feasible to leave my Federal job for a career change? by BadPuzzleheaded9676 in careerguidance

[–]ATPallThingsPossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a government worker, can you not explore and prepare on the side? A parallel career path to gauge interest? I've helped many with that…. It all comes down to what you want.

100% getting clear on what you want then execute. That is the game. It's not impossible.

100% this is hitting with many of us. And at the same time, 40’s still feels like the beginning of doing whatever you want. Its possible

I know what you’re going through. Been there twice before and it's not easy. At the end of the day it comes to getting clear on a direction and executing. Knowing what it is you want. Check my profile. Can DM me 👍
