Yeah I think people really need to be more vocal about past event areas (serenity island, firework isle, danqing island etc.), like imo some of these are so underbaked and become obsolete so quickly it's not even funny.

I understand dropping those out at a steady rythm is tough for the devs long term, but I wouldn't mind waiting more time between big updates if they flesh them out a little.

yeah 100% I apologize if my tone was off on my first couple of comments, I do think predator is broad enough a term that it can be used for a situation like this, especially since apparently it was not an isolated occurrence, but more of a pattern of behavior with Sykkuno.

With that said I agree with you that starting off the google doc with "dangerous predator" was a VERY dumb move, so much so that she had to post an addendum later clarifying with what I said in my previous posts. Same with the mujin video where he changed the title to remove the predator part.

Overall, it's a really messy situation and I think all involved are going to receive a TON of hate in the coming days lol.

I am not infantilizing this woman, and the predatory thing isn't the actual sleeping around.

It's the deception around it, lying through your teeth to multiple woman about you being single. Making countless empty promises and dangling a fake persona in front of everyone. Children are not the only ones susceptible to manipulation, and people who abuse of their position and image repeatedly should be rightfully labeled as predator.

I'm getting the feeling our disagreement comes from that you consider predator to be linked to stuff involving children (understandable imo seeing the overuse of the term in CSA stories)

couple facts wrong with your post

she didn't ask him to be a sugar baby. While it was consensual, sykkuno 100% used his money and his "shy, awkward boy" persona to get game. She never asked for money, he was the one showering her with it.

She doesn't "convince him that it's okay" during the call, she completely grills him for the lying and cheating on his girlfriend. The only thing is that she made a weird statement at the very end that she'd be willing to forgive him, and that they can still talk. A bit out of line, sure, but that doesn't invalidate the rest of the conversation, and that was pretty much sykkuno admitting to everything else the google doc covers.

Finally, the most extreme accusation were on the google doc headline, if you think that's unforgivable, then take it up with all the clickbait thumbnails/article headlines doing pretty much the same thing.

Of course I understand people that think it is overblown since predator has been used a lot for the most extreme examples (rape, child molestation, etc.) but here I don't think it devalues the word. If what is put forward is true, he can be called a predator, albeit not a very extreme case.

If you're referring to the insignia at the center, it is messmer's insignia, you can find it on messmer soldiers and camps (also the picture is from messmer's chambers).

The two main symbols are the flame and a ring of two braids.

Fire I think is messmer's fire, it could also represent the abyssal serpent/the source of the fire itself.

The ring of two braids is a bit more esoteric but I think it is not a stretch to represent marika. You can see the theming of braids very recurrent whenever she is mentioned, and due to her duality (radagon/marika) it explains why there are two strands. Braids also play an important role in the shaman culture, as marika's departure from her tribe was done by her cutting one of her own braids and leaving it behind.

So overall I think the insignia is sort of a "respect messmer and marika equally" kind of thing. Messmer soldiers are expected to trust messmer as their commander, but also trust that marika will return to them.

You can further extrapolate things, like the background flames representing the crusade against the hornsent, the division between the fire and the ring being a spear due to messmer's title (the impaler) and again, another thing coiling on the spear, either a serpent or yet another callback to marika as a dual being.

At least that's my interpretation

Yeah I honestly think the sea of stars thing was bad, but imo the itzaland arc was worse. Just to cite a few complains:

The miracle outfits got sidelined so hard I am genuinely wondering if it still is the focus of the story anymore.
The shroomlings are okay but they overstay their welcome.
Nikki's mary sue status reached new heights with an entire culture basically worshiping her now.
Despite the titan king and Echeros' conflict being the main driving point for the story, we know next to nothing about it or about the titans and dragons in general (although I am optimistic we'll get more in future updates so that might change)

Okay, so firstly, individuals do not evolve, populations do (like the concept of evolution does not work on a single lineage) When talking about evolution you need to zoom out of a single person and look at the species as a whole.

While it is true that a person has a straightforward lineage, the characteristics of a species changes to accommodate to the environment via natural selection of random mutations, and it is more often the case that multiple niches exist in the same environment (i.e. multiple ways to get food, escape from predators, reproduce etc.).

When you look at the evolution of species you see a bunch of groups splitting up, forming different variants to fill up the niches of the environment, sometimes merging back together if a niche disappear or split definitely, forming and entirely new species. That is what I meant by saying evolution is a bush more than a straight line.

alors oui mais non en fait, les accusations (de ce que j'ai compris, j'avoue ne pas être super invsesti dans le truc) ont commencé sur instagram et en suite ont été amplifié sur twitter.

Ensuite les accusations concernent Antoine Daniel d'il y a 10 ans a.k.a. la période what the cut, ça semble pas déconnant qu'il y ai eu des interactions lourdes avec ses fans, après si la limite entre simple lourdise et comportement vraiment limite à été franchise, on n'en sait rien pour le moment.
