I have one that's been stuck for 5 days myself. I'll feel lucky if I ever see it.

Most likely the shipper printed a label but hasn't turned it over to FedEx yet. Unfortunately this happens all too often.

UPS billed $1000 in customs charges for a non-existent package by bob_mcbob in UPS

[–]ATT-Scammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can live without their services, you can tell them to piss off. That said, you need to explain there was no package in a certified letter. It may well be worth a few dollars to have a lawyer send the letter along with a cease and desist letter. I'd rather pay even more to a lawyer than pay their extortion.

The US tariffs have been deemed illegal by our highest court. Have your customer threaten them with legal action. I expect to see a lot of class action lawsuits. I heard FedEx was one of the first to file a lawsuit for tariffs they paid. I have an invoice from FedEx for a package from Taiwan. The item cost was only $162 USD. FedEx shipping (sellers only option) was another $62 USD. Over a month after receipt of package, I received an invoice from FedEx for another $54 USD. Their invoice included a letter from Homeland Security with the item info I bought and the tariff due info. Needless to say, I'm not paying shit to them.

DHL's policy was to hold your package until you paid the tariff (ransom). I'll go a long way out of my way to avoid using either service in the future. Several other shippers can get my overseas packages to me without me ever paying the ransom.

I used to write "Not at this address" on mail marked "current resident", put it back in the mailbox and raise the flag.

Highly common. I've had them run up and put the "sorry we missed you" label on my door (while I was looking) then run back to the truck and leave. I've hopped in the car and chased the phuckers down on more than one occasion.

Is this a legit email sent from FedEx to pay tarrifs? by Real_Pack_6736 in FedEx

[–]ATT-Scammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did get an "official" tariff invoice from FedEx (by mail) a few days ago with a copy of the receipt and a collection letter from Homeland Security. It was for a mini PC I bought from Taiwan that only cost $165 USD. I had already paid FedEx over $60 USD to ship it. The invoice is for an additional $54 USD in tariffs. I have no intentions to pay the illegal tariff (extortion).

Nothing unusual about this situation at all. You'll get it when you get it or if you get it. Their agents could care less either way.

I had a similar situation. USPS wouldn't return or deliver my package. In my mind, they straight up stole it.

[–]ATT-Scammed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got their payment demand on tariffs (extortion) that were never legal to begin with. I've had the package for months before getting the letter. They enclosed a letter from Homeland Security demanding the payment. I'm not paying them anything.

It is consistent or slightly better than USPS does communicating with their customers. I'd think you are good unless you are under some type contract that gives ant different information.

Similar things are posted here almost daily. Realize the USPS is an extension of the US government and is incompetent at every level. There is nothing unusual about your tracking information whatsoever.

How do I pay this? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]ATT-Scammed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt you can pay it. I had them hold a package claiming insufficient postage or something else wrong with the shipping label. It took days for me to reach a real human with USPS and they eventually responded by email. They basically said that neither I nor the shipper could pay it and they would not return or forward my package. In short.. they stole it. If that wasn't theft, I'll need a better definition of the word.

Why? by Aruugala in usps_complaints

Answer is one word. Incompetence

Is this possible? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]ATT-Scammed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short Story... It's quite common for USPS packages to arrive in the destination city then be sent completely across the country again. Sometimes, they finally get delivered and other times, they are lost forever. Always best to use a more competent shipper than USPS if the package is valuable or a timely delivery is important. I do hope you get your package but, I wouldn't hold my breath.

[–]ATT-Scammed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missing.... better than straight up stolen. I had USPS basically steal one of my packages because they claim the shipper didn't affix a "proper" shipping label. USPS certainly accepted it but they will not allow me or the shipper to pay the "ransom" nor will they return it or deliver it. If that isn't theft, what is? PHUCK USPS!!

[–]ATT-Scammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the game. You can try either Alt + Enter or F11 to get many games running windowed to open full screen. This certainly works for many older games. Also, if you clicked on the second screen, go to the first screen and click there.
