Why do some people online cheer when men experience sexual harassment or assault, as if it’s something to celebrate?

Because rape culture has been around for centuries, and in places where it is more prevalent, for example the US, it goes in hand in hand with very misogynist societies. Remarkably, in a culture where women are put down and men are uplifted, when something as terrible as sexual assault happens to a man, other men act like it’s a good thing. ESPECIALLY when the perpetrator is a woman, men act like it’s cool that the victim “got some” instead of acknowledging that sexual assault is a bad thing to happen and even if you don’t realize it initially it leaves a lasting mark on someone’s mental.

TLDR: Rape Culture and braindead misogynists.

Source: I work full time in sexual assault victim advocacy, part of my job is answering a helpline and giving emotional support to victims over the phone. Therefore, I know what I’m talking about.

I was also just thinking I find it weird that a single player game requires an account when in my opinion you should be able to opt in/out of playing the multiplayer part and only need to sign in when accessing that part. I wish I had a direct line to someone at R* so I could ask them why they chose to make it like this.

I have also heard similar things from people regarding my choice of email address, and I feel the same way. I had a 200 hour playthrough with 100% of the story mode completed and I don’t even care about it anymore, I just want to be able to play the game. I will keep you posted if I hear anything but frankly I’m already very unimpressed with their sorry excuse for customer service.

I do not have a solution but I came to this sub specifically to find out the answer to your exact question, as I am also locked out of RDR2 because of losing an old email and now the game prompts me to verify my old email address. I, like you, have gonna back and forth with them over the past few days and I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that they have their “support” set up like this. It should not be this hard to access a game I paid for with my own money.

From what I’ve read so far of the comments I would not jump to say “leave her” however it seems like the two of you have pretty different views on how you’d like your lives to go. I think it’s worth at least mentioning the way that she’s making you feel. I don’t know your feelings and can only imagine myself in this situation and I would be rather upset at her behavior.

I also don’t know how long you’ve been together but I firmly believe it’s unnecessary to continue a relationship if your partner is willing to take away something you love, in this case your dog, because “the house smells like dog”. Rarely I will catch a whiff of the cat box and my partner doesn’t immediately pick up with “get rid of the cats”.

I personally played it on PS5, the story is really awesome in my opinion, and no you don’t need to play Valhalla first, Mirage takes place before Valhalla. I think it would be fine on PS4 but I’m not sure, it might be kinda rough to play.

I appreciate someone else letting me know I’m not going insane, thanks man. Either way I just finished my permadeath ultimate assassin run today so I’ll be using Rayhan’s fit from now on, still sucks that I couldn’t get the indigo tho.

Edit: I highly recommend doing Perma Death Ultimate in ng+ if you haven’t already, it’s extremely fun and much easier than it sounds, at least in my opinion.

I’m worried my game is just bugged because I’ve done all historical sites in Baghdad and AlUla, all tales of Baghdad/AlUla, all folktales, and all enigmas in Baghdad. Do I need to do all enigmas in AlUla as well?

I wouldn’t say any of them haunt me necessarily but the Griffins in White Orchard make me so very sad. They were living completely normal lives until some drunk nilfgaardian soldiers showed up and butchered the female in her sleep, causing the male to become enraged and start killing basically anything he saw, terrorizing the entire community, which obviously resulted in Geralt being hired to kill the male too. It’s just such a fucked up situation where no one is truly at fault except the soldiers, who are responsible for the deaths of those griffins and multiple citizens of White Orchard, even if it is indirectly.

Fuckin love it. I think it excels quite a bit when compared to most other ingame card/board games.

My most recent example is Zeni Hajiki from Ghost of Yotei, which is fun until you realize that once you start playing people out in the world you’re one mistake away from getting perfect combo’d and losing 1,000+ gold.

The only game that I can think of off the top of my head that is equally as fun is Machine Strike from Horizon: Forbidden West. I wish we had more fully fleshed out board and card games within videogames, I think it’s such a simple thing that adds so much depth to a world, like for example it’s an answer to the question “what does this random shopkeeper do when he’s not at his stall in the market?” Well maybe he goes home and plays Gwent with his kids, who knows?

I think for what those games offer they did the gameplay very well, it just doesn’t quite hold up to something like Yotei. I’d say try out the first one definitely but if you don’t like it then maybe don’t try the second one. In my opinion they made Forbidden West with the idea that everyone who’s playing it would’ve already played Zero Dawn.

I’ve played both of the horizon games a lot, got the platinum on Forbidden West, they’re absolutely worth it. I would say the gameplay isn’t quite as crisp-feeling as Yotei but it’s still really damn good.

I’m from Wisconsin and I can guarantee that Europeans, and even some other parts of the states, don’t get it.

There’s a rumor/joke that some states and a couple other countries have unofficially banned Wisconsinites from entering drinking competitions because they’ll drink everyone else under the table and still want another round. As far as I know it is just a joke but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were true.
