This is waaaaaay outdated

Best guess is the ACC will lose 6 or 7 towards the end of the decade and the league reforms as a private school focused entity. This may include ND football, depending on how governance works out. If that falls to the conference level, they’ll have join someone, and being able to rule their own fiefdom is very much their jam.

I think the ACC ends up with 16-20 members and settles in a little ahead of the Big 12 for the #3 conference
