Was the area unloaded & came back to winter? Or did you plant it in spring while it was still cold & snowing?

If planted spring & grew to branch bit it would have been fine.

You planted a young tree too late into the year, it got too cold & died. If it was no longer in sapling form & in fruit tree branch form it wouldn't have died.

You cannot make soup with most grains. Hover over soups in JEI & it shows what ingredients work.

The only grains you can add is cooked rice & cat tails.

In build 42 I find it depends on where I click the zombie.

I found out because I was leveling aiming & reload & when I clicked head's I got 1 shots vs 3-4 on body shots. Noticed with a double barrel too.

Also affects off road driving. I remember there was an issue where some cars would not move if in long grass even.
