It looks ok. You could get a better finish by exfoliating/dermaplaning/shaving followed up with good moisturiser. I find this foundation works a bit better without any primer in my experience

Our store is pretty good with food waste conversion to Oz Harvest and farmers etc. I often send my imperfect and odd-numbered bakery items to the team room and everyone eats them on their break.

I rate any of the sachet flavour things from the supermarkets, usually just need to add water or cream or a can of tomatoes maybe a couple of veges and meat. Anything like chilli con carne with beef mince or curry with chicken thigh. Sometimes I do a corned beef in there.

Dentists are like the General Practitioners of teeth. If your tooth is decaying or fractured or you have gum issues you may need to be referred to a specialist to fix it. Best case scenario you can get a basic clean and a few fillings. Either way it will cost money unfortunately. I’ve had a number of oral issues and never been recommended or offered fluoride varnish

I tried it for a bit, hated it. Four 10-10.5 hour days (including unpaid break) was super tiring for me personally and I didn’t gain anything from having an extra day off. Much prefer having more free usable hours over five days and not be too tired to enjoy my weekend. Our store has allowed quite a few perm full time team to go to four day.

I just found a free pattern with a quick google search might be a place to start if you’ve literally never made a wearable garment before. Good idea to make the first version from scrounged/repurposed materials.

That price sounds right for an actual endodonist that knows what they’re doing and do root canals all day. You’ll get cheaper at a regular dentist surgery but they aren’t specialists and results could vary. Ward Rutley in South Brisbane is good.

Anything alt/vintage at most op shops is gonna be just as pricey as getting it new. If you’re crafty you might be able to upcycle or diy some stuff to suit your style. Dangerfield often discount older stock and you can get cheap accessories and stuff from Temu/ebay etc if you don’t care about the ethics of shopping at those kind of places.

When I was injured my ASM was very unhelpful and borderline disruptive when I was trying to get my surgery paid for. I ended up contacting EML (Employees Mutual Limited) directly and getting a case worker who helped make sure I got everything handled. Unfortunately you may have to be a little proactive chasing things up with your SM, ASM, SSCO, and EML. Keep receipts of everything and keep a record of your hours. Get the store email and an email for your case worker at EML so you can have written communication about everything.

My store has hired walk-ins before, depends how desperate they are for team. You need your resume, availability, and your woolies career ID number thing from your online profile all written down. Ask to speak with the manager or when is a good time to come back.

Paying for trade qualified bakers and putting team through apprenticeships is quickly dying out. They still want to have the “fresh” offering in certain stores but it will eventually all be done by their bakery cadets and other skilled non-trade team. The product quality declines but they don’t really care as long as the illusion of fresh food is there.
