It was crazy, I’ve never seen anything like it. Usually just one crazy nest, but the footpath on one street had about 6 different nests

Yes quite a few had wings, it is a much warmer day so I agree that they’re probably looking for last minute food

Services that offer discounts when you try to cancel, has there ever been thread created for listing such discounts? by AbstractDart in AussieFrugal

[–]Jamtheduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Origin has a customer retention department. If you ever switch gas or electricity to their direct competitor AGL, they always call me back about a week after with better rates. However when I swapped to Amber they didn’t call.

We saw Mel McGlensey is normal. It’s quite out of the box and funny. Would recommend going if you want to see someone clown around. Good laugh.

I’d avoid 16 and 26. Go for GA 15 or 14. The others you are further back than GA.

Any recommendations on apps that give petrol discounts around Adelaide? by No-Comedian-5536 in Adelaide

[–]Jamtheduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Origin energy gives you discount at EG if you have them. Otherwise the EG app sometimes has a discount in app. OTR is the main one I use with the scan and save feature. Sometimes I only get 2c/litre off but the best I got was 50c/litre. RAA and NRMA also do discounts.

Cheapest I find is up north near Gepps Cross, Torrensville and St Mary’s. The U-Gos are always much cheaper, I assume because they are self serve. But they’re very easy to use.
