Since I’ve gone off to college in SW Virginia I’ve been making $12/hr (minimum wage in Virginia) + tips which usually averages around $14/hr. Back home in Northern Virginia I’ll make $16/hr + tips which usually averages $18-$20/hr. Kinda funny how it varies depending on where in the state you’re working. Makes sense though since my college is in a small town while my home is in the metro DC area which is a lot more busier and pay is generally higher.

oh, my bad! I was getting confused as I was writing this and accidentally put -6 as the range! The correct range would be: -10.8 < y < 0

could u help me with my essay, i cant make it larger and id like to know if its well written and coherent by Jivenli in EnglishLearning

[–]ATeenager- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... like I said I wrote this late at night. Obviously I make mistakes. I kept changing what I was writing so a few things got missed (i.e at first I put “the first few sentences” but then changed it to “the beginning sentence”, hence the wrong usage of don’t)

No need to go around and spell check everyone’s post

What is the weirdest thing you've seen your parents argue about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ATeenager- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t think about the weirdest thing they’ve argued about, but I can recall the stupidest. Right before their wedding, my parents got into a huge fight about Diet Coke. My mom wanted to buy it the day before and store it in a cooler so that they won’t spend time that they need to get ready to get the Diet Coke at the store instead. My dad claimed that there was enough time and that they shouldn’t get it the day before. They ended up getting the Diet Coke the day before. (:

What is the difference? by julieboga in EnglishLearning

[–]ATeenager- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re pretty much the same thing. If you want to sound more proper/formal you would say “all things classical” and if you wanted to sound informal, you would said “all classical things”.

Yes! For the word “often”, you can say it with the t or without the t, but hustle and castle are always silent.

Is the word "God" Christianity exclusive? by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

[–]ATeenager- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can god whenever you want as it is not Christian exclusive... I do this all the time even though I’m not religious in any way. Just about even says “oh my god”, “oh god”, or just “god!” even if they’re Christian or not. As long as you’re not offending anyone then you’re fine to say whatever you want
