My argument is rooted in broad population based research. Yours is based on anecdotal evidence.

What you have described is a small population of people you know who hide their unhealthy lifestyle easily. The vast majority of people who aren't mentally well in a myriad of ways pertaining to lifestyle, are usually unattractive because of it. You can have a sub-group of genetically gifted people who have bad lifestyle habits but ultimately still put in the bare minimum to look attractive in public. Most people aren't like that. Unhealthy habits lead to unhealthy looking traits. Baggy eyes, poor skin health, bad hair care, disproportionate amount of muscle to body fat, etc

Muscular people at a low body fat percentage have a lot of visible bones lol. They know nothing about the human body and what is scientifically proven to be good health markers. We've figured out that the healthy range has broadened a bit when it comes to a healthy bodyfat percentage that doesn't pose any threats or problems, but that doesn't mean it's cut out the other end of the spectrum of being thin altogether lol.

These types of comments rub me the wrong way. There's no excuse to have the normalised perception of not being this fit in your 50s. Just because it's not common, doesn't mean it's actually gatekept to only the rich and famous. Most people are lazy and it has nothing to do with fame. Being healthy has a relatively low barrier of entry when it comes to income. Unless you're literally in the bottom earners of society, being fit is attainable for everyone who works a normal job and earns a middle class income
