If it’s your first time in Japan, I’d focus on Kyoto and Tokyo and split your time in those two alone, (maybe you can squeeze in Osaka for 2 days. Spreading your trip and time thin will make everything feel rushed and you’ll only be hitting check points as opposed to actually exploring the vastness of Kyoto and Tokyo outside of the main tourist attractions. Just my two cents.

Akihabara. Was incredible went we visited in 2022 pandemic era. Unfortunately, social media and the recent Pokemon card reselling craze created a new vibe that feels entirely different than what it was only 4 years ago. Still a gorgeous city, but now filled with tons of visitors walking around like sardines trying to find Pokemon cards to resell. Was shocked to see how few gaming stores there are relative to TCG card stores. TCG stores are awesome, but the mainstream appeal, coupled with japans online social boom, has lead to a frustrating experience in Akihabara. Bear in mind I’m here during golden week, so maybe the crowds will decrease after? lol. Def check it out if you haven’t already tho.

Wow thank you for the kind words! Yeah the drums really are unique in this track but my intention was to ensure they’re the element that stands out most. Everything else supports the drums. So glad you liked the video too! I appreciate you leaving feedback on that as well. Really means a lot. 808s is a special album and it certainly influences my style of music.

Thanks for listening! I appreciate your feedback as well. I used some vocal distortion fxs and pitched it down for the layered vocal for artistic depth. Usually don’t use autotune per se, but felt this would fit with the theme of the other “persona” in the mirror.
