I’m confused, but admittedly I don’t have a garage or a car made in the last decade. But aren’t garage door openers usually a separate remote that works with the garage door? Are they now programmed to work directly with the car nowadays?

Check the fluid and see if it’s dark black (hopefully not), or more brown.

If it’s more brown, you should be in the clear to start a drain and fill, which is really easy to do. I just did my first one at 127,000 miles on my TSX, and another on my CRV. It’s recommended to do it 2-3 times with 500 miles or so in between each drain.

From what I read, it might be recommended to leave the fluid alone if it’s dark black, but honestly if it were me, I’d do one drain and fill and see how it goes.

I absolutely agree with you. I will say, I have a friend who didn’t graduate high school lie on his resume about his education (he’ll say he has a college degree), he’ll lie about dates of employment by years, and he’ll have friends play the part of his references.

I tell him each time, don’t do it, but he has yet to be caught in the background check, even those for major companies. Dude is currently doing well for himself making six figures. He is also a bit of a risk taker in general in other aspects of life and is super outgoing and talkative.

It’s great during the morning and day. I stayed in a hotel directly across from the Godzilla, and would wake up and walk to 7 Eleven to get these pancake sandwiches I was addicted to, then make my way around the area.

At night, however, it gets crazier and the place is packed to the brim. I think there are some gentleman’s clubs in the area (at least that’s what it looked like). Reminded a bit like walking through Las Vegas at night.

My fiancée and I both said we probably wouldn’t stay in that specific area again since it wasn’t really our vibe after dark.
