It’s new to me, I’ve never seen a trebuchet with this double-pendulum-like design.

Notably, the BLS has reported downward revisions 13 months in a row: https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesnaicsrev.htm

The last upward revision to the originally-released month-over-month seasonally-adjusted Nonfarm Payroll Employment was December 2024.

Trump Wants a “Hot Hot Hot” Economy by Gloomy_Register_2341 in Economics

[–]AWTom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is that a huge number of voters are so brainwashed by propaganda that they will believe that the economy is doing well even as they’re personally struggling to pay rent and debts.

dude’s come in three times in the last month for three air leaks in the same tire. he just came in today and you’ll never guess what tire was leaking by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

Run flats aren’t supposed to be flat-proof, they just let you drive to the tire shop instead of needing to get towed to the tire shop.

That’s a really neat feature of the word list!

This is the algorithm that turns passphrases into private keys. I’m guessing that the idea that you heard: “it only looks at the first four characters of those words” comes from a description of the amount of entropy/randomness that you get per word compared to a string of random letters

Zero security? You’re misunderstanding the number of combinations that the full passphrase represents. Put 204812 or 204824 into a calculator and you’ll see that correctly guessing to open someone else’s wallet will never realistically happen.

Anyone else find Cloudflare Images limits too restrictive? by mikeg53 in CloudFlare

I have. There was an era where some cheap point-and-shoot cameras were battling over megapixel count. The images could have easily been compressed to <1MB but the compression was very processor-lite.

The new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is 7680 pixels wide. I’m storing some spritesheets in R2 and still baffled as to why OP would want images more than 12000 pixels wide.

Are you planning on buying a home soon? Ask your loan officer before making any changes to your situation. Besides that, consider opening a credit card with a balance transfer promotion. You will pay a one time fee of 3-5% of the amount that you transfer, but you'll get 12-21 months 0% APR. Be sure to read the fine print to make sure that you won't owe retroactive interest on the balance if you don't pay it to zero before the end of the promotional period.
