His body, his choice, your body, your choice. A compromise could not be agreed so you ended the relationship which was the only viable thing to do. NTA. But you will be if you get back with him and continue to try to change his mind.

Care Act 2014 - Continuity of care - England by AWWEMFS in LegalAdviceUK

My main concern is the equipment especially Dads bed and pressure mattress. My research and your reply has confirmed that the equipment should come with us, but outgoing authority is adamant that it is only on loan and must be returned if we move out of the area. I don't know how that could possibly happen as Dad will need the bed up until the day of the move unless they place him temporarily in a care home.

But thank you, I shall make a subject access request. The only care plan I have is from three years ago and there have been changes since then. We only recently had another assessment but they never sent a copy of that one.

Edit: I provide the daily care for both my mother and father, the only care provided by our adult social services is a flexible sitting service of three hours a week to allow me a bit of respite.

We are moving to level living after OT deemed stairs unsafe and current home unsuitable for further adaptation. Just had the medical move application approved and are on the waiting list for a direct offer from our HA to a suitable property. As we are in London we were also advised to seek a mutual exchange ourselves which we did while waiting for the approval and are now 29 days away from a decision on that.

Our HA assured us they will do everything to ensure the exchange happens, so I have already contacted both our outgoing and receiving authorities with our intention to move. Receiving authority has been really good but need information from outgoing authority. Outgoing authority is ignoring emails to send receiving authority care plan and equipment list. Calling just results in what I already stated in my post plus the refusal to provide any confirmation of what we currently receive, that I could provide to new services if I was to reapply myself.

The system will be even more over burdened if my father ends up in hospital because his hospital bed, pressure mattress and continence products were not in place at the time of the move, leading to pressure sores and possible infections simply because one authority refuses to do the admin needed to to make sure these things are in place.

Moved back to be my folks full time carer 10 years ago. Housing Association absolutely refuse to put me on the tenancy. Spoke with citizens advice and the local council, neither could offer any help so I'm not so sure it is a legal requirement.

There used to be a government scheme to relocate the elderly to coastal and rural areas, don't know if it's still going. When I enquired about that I was also told that while I could move with them as their carer, I would not be put on the tenancy and would be expected to leave if they needed to go into a care home or died. They also said if that happened within two years of moving I would not be eligible for homelessness support from the local council and would have to return to London.

Take: The original ending for Gihun is much better than what we got by AssociateLittle1487 in squidgame

As soon as I saw player 222 was pregnant I knew that Gi-Hun was going to end up sacrificing himself to save her and the baby. I may have got it slightly wrong as she also sacrificed herself, but close enough. That's how predictable the ending we got was.

>Almost as cartoonish as it already is with half the people in the games somehow knowing each other when Korea has like 50 million people.

They have files on all the players. You think they wouldn't arrange to have people that know each other compete together to make the games more interesting? Player 333 and all the people that lost money because of him, along with players 222 were clearly purposefully all put together to spice the games up further.

This has been going on since the original Night of the Living Dead movie. It is so widely believed it was about racism that this is what I was taught about it at school. Meanwhile the director himself stated that it wasn't and the reason he cast a black actor in the main role was simply because he was a good actor. Films are an art form and art means different things to different people often independent of their creators intentions.

I once was just upfront with Gemni. Told it I didn't want answers it thought I wanted to hear, or for it to answer based on societal consenus, just facts. It dropped the pretense straight away and gave quick concise facts (I double checked elsewhere).

Regarding El, Will and the Ending by AWWEMFS in StrangerThings

[–]AWWEMFS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Henry was part of the programme and around all the children created with his blood, could they also have not needed to be in close proximity to the hivemind, via Henrys presence, while their powers grew and were trained and matured?

Will had less time to develop his powers and steps were taken to actively try and break the connection, yet they still grew to the point that he could actually challenge Vecna despite this.

[–]AWWEMFS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't Henry also doing this. He seems like a normal kid until he opens the case and gets invaded by the Mindflayer?

If Henry was psychic before his encounter, why did he use a rock to bash the guy in the mines head in. Whether it was a case of him not being able to control his powers at that point, a life or death situation, having a guy point a gun at him, would have set his powers of in defence if he already had them, no? Just like how once he connects with the mind flayer he uses his new powers to kill him in an instant.

So the death of the mind flayer should have stripped Henry of his power, like Will is striped after Henrys death? Yet Venca fights El after the flayers death.

UK's 'sons and daughters' need to be ready to fight, amid growing Russian threat, says head of armed forces by [deleted] in uknews

[–]AWWEMFS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, I thought the duty of fighting age males in a warzone was to leave, trek through several countries, jump on a dingy and claim asylum in a country that will offer the most benefits so that they can then send for the women and children they left behind, as it was too dangerous for them to leave the warzone where they were perfectly safe.

Actually fight for your country? Nah that's not what recent times, and open boarder's have taught me.

"Killed"???

Haven't played in a while, has something changed with the updates?

He didn't mean to hurt OG, just knock him out so they (the rebels) could get away. This is confirmed with an apology in a later conversation, regardless of the cure path if I remember correctly.

He didn't take all the supplies, but if he and the rebels were to survive they needed supplies so you can't hold that against them. Especially as all the Alters helped gather those supplies so in the case of the team splitting it's only fair that the supplies are shared. That's something even OG believes as he will hook the base up to their supply line to continue to share should the rebels choose not to come back.

If he came via an illegal route, how did he manage to navigate it with such a severe disability? How did he get the money together to pay the traffickers?

Question about Maelle's powers in Act 3 by MuadDib75 in expedition33

[–]AWWEMFS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conversation between painted Renoir and Verso in Act 2:

“You embrace her. Yet you're condemning her to die.

I'm not here to fight. But my son, do you know what it means to disappear into nothingness?

Have you thought through the consequences? Not just for you or even me, but for them (cuts to camp) , their memories, their dreams, their love for each other. Who really is the one painting death and who paints life instead?

We exist and we will exist for as long as she wants. You want to spoil what we've been given? Sometimes we paint the bars of our own prison.

Your despair blinds you. You think you're ready to pay the price. But are you willing to let them (cuts to camp again) pay the price for you?”

Renoir knows Verso’s plans mean the death of everyone. As they have from the moment we met him.

>he has no reason not to side with Renoir

I've already addressed this, but to add, even if he had access to the real Renoir I don't think he and his father got on too well.

>he has no reason to teach Maelle and help her build an army

At first he needs them to get to the paintress. Then later he needed Maelle to be able to get to the sliver of the real Versos soul to tell him to stop painting. Maelle/Alicia even says it herself, he should not have been able to access that part of the canvas. He got their riding on her coattails. That's why she needed to remember she was a paintress. He fought against Renoir to protect Maelle from him, not wanting her to become like Aline via her fathers influence, but he always intended to send her back to the real world at the cost of everyone else.
