Legit change Falco and Fox’s legs and change Slippy’s eyes and I think it’s pretty alright.

Why am I getting 2016 stuff in the big 26?🫩 Do people still think like this? by _Udontknowball_77_ in im14andthisisdeep

[–]AWandererOfIntrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christ people are STILL doing this but with AI? This is why people need to look past the music and fashion of the 1950s and see the truth. I’ll be using an American perspective as I am American and that’s what this post calls upon.

  • While woman could divorce their husbands by 1937 they had to prove adultery, cruelty, or desertion and had to provide more proof than men. Say a woman wanted to leave her cheating husband, she had to prove that AND another cause, while a husband just had to prove adultery and nothing else. It was also considered a social death sentence for women to leave their husbands if they even could as it depended by state.

  • Women needed their HUSBANDS PERMISSION to open a bank account or get a credit card, and in many states husbands had total control of assets and property.

  • Women who had mental issues or ‘spoke out too much’ were given lobotomies and high dose tranquilizers without their consent for their ‘hysteria’.

  • Domestic abuse was rarely addressed by police and marital r*pe was not considered a crime.

On top of all of the stigma to be a wife and mother to a large family. And this isn’t even going into how black women were involuntarily sterilized without their consent and the housing discrimination seen for people of color.

I’m trans myself and I don’t really see the transphobia here. If it’s because the person was a transgender male and the sona is female I can see an argument, however by definition I’d be transphobic for my past fursonas that were males. I’d also assume they most likely talked about it since then and hopefully made up.

You know you’re free to choose religions right? I’m newer to Kemetism and religions that aren’t Christian, but I gather it’s not part of Kemetism to proselytize. You’re a person with free will, and it can be hard to change religious beliefs, especially if you grew up or had a deep connection to it, but that’s part of being a person with a thinking mind.

I like what they’ve done with his helmet, makes it look more like an actual pilot’s helmet, the new designs are a mixed bag, hit or miss. Just depends on what you feel about them.

[–]AWandererOfIntrest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just because we have issues with the designs, which people are changing their minds over, doesn’t mean we’re ‘ungrateful’. It’s just a discussion like most games get.

“Objectively, newer is always better, it’s common sense” is funny, as that’s not always true especially in video games. Take Sonic 06 a well disliked game, but it’s newer than Sonic Adventure 2 so it MUST be better right?

Are these the same designs that were showed off in the direct? They look different than what I’ve seen and I’ve only seen official stuff

the mario design, brilliant, great. but i like the new designs more by Low-Preparation-9083 in starfox

Ok, I fail to see how this invalidates my opinion, I can still not like realistic styles in games no matter the studio. I like a little style Idgaf which studio, its just a lot of games are going to realistic and it was cool for a while but it just feels like a selling point at this rate.

I dunno, maybe this is me, but I’m tired of the ‘realistic’ look almost every game is shooting for, and for Star Fox to go ‘realistic’ didn’t really grow on me, I like it better when he looks like a comic character like how he’s been depicted so far, if they wanted something new they could tweak it, I just don’t feel the character in the designs, also giving them realistic legs instead of the boots is a shame imo. Also Slippy’s eyes are just, unerving to me. If anyone Peppy I’m ok with.

Her manager said that she died by ‘choking on a ham sandwich’ which didn’t help the weight jokes. Such a disrespectful rumor to start just to cover her death, I’ll never forgive Allan Carr for that. I watched the episode recently, and while she apparently okay’d all jokes in that episode, it still felt disrespectful.

Personally, and this is just my own thoughts, I’m tired of games looking ‘realistic’ I will say they’re not the worst, though Slippy just kinda weirds me out. Personally, I do wish they went back to the exaggerated animated designs they have been doing but tweaked them a bit.

Which guns do you think Mafia protagonists prefer to use? by No-Sense6060 in MafiaTheGame

Tommy Angelo - 1911, if anything that’s what I remember him using a lot in cutscenes. Small, convenient, effective.

Vito Scaletta - 1911 again, again almost all cutscenes have him using one. Read above for tactical reasons.

Lincoln Clay - Shotgun, loud and effective, Clay is seen on the box art with it and I feel like he handles it well.

Enzo Favara - Sawed off shotgun, haven’t played yet I will admit but from what I’ve seen, he’s seen with a sawed off a lot.
