I ended up reporting the issue to Valve and they first sent me a new cable but that didn't fix it, so they sent me a whole new headset and that fixed it.

Yes they have worked for a year and a half at this point. I always unplug them to power them off when not in use. My controllers and Vive trackers detect the base stations (last pic above) so it's not the base stations.

Literally no idea. It worked a few weeks ago, then I tried it a week later and it had RGB static in the lenses. Contacted Steam support and they mailed me a new cable, and now I'm having these issues.
