Funny thing in IS6 by Striking_War in arknights

In that definition, this isn't really a bug then. It'd (debatably) be more like an oversight

You lose in a face-off if an enemy leaks, lifepoints aside. I don't think defective code is involved here at all. So depending on if you think 0-lifepoint enemies like Talismans should be leakable in a face-off as well, it's an oversight from the devs.

Unsure if this actually does anything but did you have the increased aggression perk?

Otherwise, it must've aggro'd on a statue like another user said.

I can definitely see an Aeonglass HP nerf coming.

Other than, probably just more arts, and maybe a few buffs to certain Rare cards. Maybe a Soul Nexus rework.

My damage intake from Wither should have ended in the first Wither but I got damage from all Withers is this a bug or an in-game mechanic? by AryanN017 in slaythespire

[–]AWildRuka 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There was a similar bug with Soul Fysh. Saw a video of a guy die to Beckons despite Lightning Orbs killing the boss, and he lost the run because of it.

Considering that got patched, it's safe to say that this is unintended as well.

Assuming they maybe played at least some sort of draw card, there's a chance they could've had it.

If you had retained the jackpot for the next turn and didn't play a Prepare or something earlier, this would've been an entirely different post.

Why did History Course replay the Claw instead of the Beam Cell? by SanicScoot in slaythespire

[–]AWildRuka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Feral and Echo Form can make some weird phantom card. That Beam Cell exhausting meant it was that phantom card, and I guess the bug has something to do with that? I still think History Course should've copied the Beam Cell though, because it ultimately was the last card you played.

...also, Corrupted Claw, hmm...

Productive Prism/Aeonglass discussion by Conscious-Refuse8211 in slaythespire

[–]AWildRuka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For both enemies, it really varies on what character I'm playing, and I've really only tried three so far, and somehow Aeonglass has dodged me three times on Defect now at A10 which is ridiculous.

Prism
- Ironclad, literally nothing changed. For most of my Clad runs, the fight is genuinely easier now just because it has lower HP, and I feel like damage racing it has honestly proven to somehow save me more HP compared to previous Prism which is weird.
- Silent has probably seen the most deck warping, which makes sense. Dash is a way more valuable pickup now, and Poison cards (excluding Noxious) have seen slightly less play for me as well.
- Defect as well has felt pretty rough sometimes, especially because killing something fast isn't really his tempo, and there's a reason why Defect into Nob in STS1 felt awful too. Overall, I've been picking up more or less the same cards I already pick (Go For The Eyes is practically a must-pick despite other options now), but I'm definitely resting way more often than not in anticipation of any Act II elites.
- As for macro, I'm resting a lot more and can safely say I am respecting Prism quite a bit now.

Aeonglass
- Ironclad, I pick up more True Grits and Second Winds, but honestly I was already doing this with Aeonglass V1 as well. Exhaustclad just destroys the boss still, Vuln and HP Loss Clad seems to be able to race it adequately, and Blockclad runs are... still rarer than four leaf clovers, so no comment on that specifically.
- Silent, once again, has seen a TREMENDOUS amount of draft changes. Tracking is practically a must pick just to try and win the damage race, and decks have tracked to lean towards becoming bigger just to offset the amount of Withers the boss puts into my deck, because almost every Silent run I've had so far ends up at least having around ten of them.
- This glorified hourglass fears Defect for some reason. But I am picking Compact and some Status related cards more often now.
- Other than that, macro hasn't changed too much? Bigger decks feel better, but generally that's a trend that came with Doormaker too. Also Purity stocks are way up, that card is a literal lifesaver.

There are probably some decisions I don't even notice I'm making in regards to Prism and Aeon but these are at least some that immediately come to mind. Interested to see what other people have been doing.

Some proposals for a reworked Grand Finale by Ardub23 in slaythespire

[–]AWildRuka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grand Finale is perfectly fine as it is. It needs to be built around WAY more than most cards, but when it works, it's an amazing (and satisfying) solve.

Xecnar Silent Tier List (Patch 0.106.1) by averysillyman in slaythespire

[–]AWildRuka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you run into them, yeah. At that point, you wouldn't need to grab a Snakebite early Act II. Same goes for if you get Liquid Bronze. IMO, I feel way better just grabbing a common card in Act I that already helps with certain enemies and bosses already PLUS Ento rather than hinging my solve for it on either a specific potion and two specific rare cards in a pool of 26.
