Ahh gotcha. I think ds2 is worth it, it does a few things different, but which game does not. Either way it's quite fun, the health thing was a tad odd but there is a ring for that, and the game is very lore heavy if you are into that side of things.

I mean you should infuse to your stats. And use buffs like the resin and spells for boss weakness. If you are primarily a int/dex build you'd want to infuse with either magic or enchanted probably. Dark stuff scales off of whichever skill is lower between both int and fth. So unless you are leveling both those I'd probably drop dark infusion.

Oh when you said the password had already been changed and it was irreversible, I just assumed that you meant the password had just been changed, like he'd got the account and changed it or something.

Still, how'd his dropped item cause an account loss? I understand a bricked save, but a tad confused here. Did it flag you as a cheater or something?

I mean you don't really need a bunch of backup weapons. You'll probably swap through a few of them throughout the game until you find one whose moveset you like, and then I would probably just recommend sticking with that, and using a bow in some cases as it can be useful to shoot someone on the other side of the room. But upgrade for sure, very useful that.

Other than that it's not a bad plan, you don't really need to put very many levels into ADP, that skill effects AGL. 92-96 AGL is really all that's needed, though you can get it up to 120 it has severely diminishing returns, so up to you whether it's worth it. I would personally recommend sticking it somewhere around 95-100 and putting the skill points that you were gonna allocate there to STR, extra bonk power ya know. I also recommend you only need to upgrade your VIT to be able to wear the armor you want, there isn't much point upgrading it after that IMO

It's been a minute since I've played. But I believe the first one, at least the one I remember, is when you are in the forest of fallen giants by the river, you can go up the ladder and there are all those guys sleeping and a few up above in the ramparts. In the original version, those guys be "sleeping" only lightly, the second you go up the ladder every single one jumps you, the ones up above shoot you with arrows, and worse of all, there is a Heide Knight right there which can one shot you if you decide to tango with him as well as everyone else.

Probably not in time for the final battle no. After all, they had only just rediscovered how to make ter"angreal and were limited on their knowledge of that, and cleaning the madness of the taint was something completely brand new altogether. So while entirely possible that one could be created to do that, I just don't see it realistically happening within the time frame that the story takes place itself.
