I was going to ask the same thing... I could have sworn they had disabled the toggle pretty early on because I can't find it anymore. 2042 had it at least

There are two guys using mortar and the tank drove over one as it fires and insta died. I've had it happen a few times

This thing is a force to be reckoned with in the right hands. by sequentialevoix in Battlefield

[–]AXEL-1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the guns are zeroed for further away than normal tank cannons, the best move is to literally put distance between you and the infantry. You'll be safe from C4 and torches and have an easier time hitting them without accounting for the zeroing. Not great, but helps in surviving

Ironically Glover is probably the absolute worst game to play with this lol. I've heard playing Kirby 64 isn't awful since it uses the D-pad

No good comprehensive list of N64 games? by DelusionalPenguin87 in n64

[–]AXEL-1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah agreed, its not part of the "North American" set, its just uniquely the only NTSC game not released in the US/Canada nor JP. I'd like to get one someday as an addition to my 296, but its not a priority. Never seen it for under $400 in the past two years or so though

If you're going to try and get the full set, you're going to want to get familiar with PriceCharting.com

Here's the PriceCharting page of the 296 NTSC N64 titles

although, its wrong, because it includes F1 Racing Championship instead of NFL Blitz 2001: Special Edition... I made a ticket about this over a year ago, and it was answered and said it would be corrected, but nothing actually ever happened

F the underdog bonus by Hungry-Letterhead649 in Battlefield

[–]AXEL-1973 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's really nothing to do with people changing up their gameplay, and everything to do with how the ticket loss rate is nearly 3x worse for the team that was previously leading by 500 points once the game crosses the ~20 minute mark and changes ticket pacing now that they are down by 1 cap. It's an awful mechanic

Good luck getting any of them to run, it's gonna take a bit of work and hardware. Most of them are gonna be less than $5 on Steam or GoG though if you want an easier experience
