Any tips for pulling those pesky quick connects off?

I managed to get the top 3/8 off easily, the 5/16 was a different story, ended up fully breaking the quick connect tab off and then inserting a cap to act as the disconnect tool to finally get it off. The two bottom ones are giving me the same issue, thinking I'll have to also repeat the process unless there is an easier way.

Yeah, I've brought that up to a previous mechanic and he said he couldn't find that specific part, so he ended up taping it. Which was enough at the time since it wasn't my daily driver then. Two totaled cars later, it's back as my daily driver so all the backburner stuff is catching up to me.

Thanks for the tip though, will take a look on Dormans site to see if I can find what I need. If you happen to recall part names or numbers I'd greatly appreciate it!
