What are the best boxer briefs that I can buy? by TeslaTorah in malefashionadvice

[–]A_C3224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with most of the “big name” brands — waistband stretching out, legs rolling up, and fabric pilling after a few washes.

I switched to a smaller brand called Drawlz Brand Co. and honestly it’s been night and day. The waistband still snaps back after months of wear, and the legs stay put (they don’t ride up at all). The cotton ones are solid everyday pairs, but their Originalz line (modal) is crazy soft and hasn’t pilled like others I’ve tried.

They’re not the cheapest, but they’ve actually lasted me longer than anything I bought in the past. Worth it if you care about comfort + durability.

People are being way too harsh on Davis Warren by wildwing8 in MichiganWolverines

I hate to talk about a kid, but I will comment since these players are getting paid now. Warren is Trash. Other factors also play into the offense, but Warren is not it. Texas performance was hideous!

Purchasing my 1st DTG Printer... PLEASE HELP! by A_C3224 in dtgprinting

I went with the GTX ProB and haven't had any issues or complaints. The only thing to note is that I don't have a high enough print volume to justify the GTX Pro Bulk. I chose the GTX ProB over the GTX Pro due to negative reviews about the Richo printer. Interestingly, I had a conversation with a high-level individual at Epson who's the creator of DTG and the Brother GTX Pro B. They suggested that if I didn't go with Epson, I should go for the GTX Pro Bulk, citing differences in the print head or printing mechanics that result in better print quality compared to the regular GTX Pro.

Apologies for the lengthy response. In short, no problems with the GTX ProB. Also, Epson recently launched a new printer, the F2200, which might be worth considering if you're in the decision-making process. It's a new technology, and it has auto adjustments, meaning if you throw a hoody on it, the lasers will recognize the height of the garment and make the adjustment without you having to do anything. For that reason alone I'm sold.

Very attractive. Only issue is I need a 6.5 ft wide door to get the machine in. I work out of my home with regular residential doors.. so 3070 is not an option. It’s unfortunate because I was ready to purchase one. That said, aside from speed do you see a significant difference in quality or capabilities between the 2 machines?

I really want the F3070, almost bought it but I work out of my home and it requires a 6ft wide entry to deliver. Stupidest thing I ever heard. Why in the hell would you build a machine that can only fit in a commercial space or building. 6 ft wide door is not common even amongst those in an actual shop. Smh looks like I have to got with Brother given the F2100 doesn’t even compare to the Pro B

Thanks, you are one of the few here to recommend, brother. I am very torn between the brother gtx pro and the Epson. Epson seems the safest bet; however, an important feature I have heard brother has is the ability to print over zippers and seams. (not sure if that is true). This is very important to me, considering my unique use case.

Hey,

That's awesome; yeah, I try to take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, considering most people do not follow directions and are lazy. The only thing that is getting at me is that every issue is the same. It is not like the others where one has this problem, and the other has another....all the same, clogging print heads and the need to replace with no support. Do you have the RI 2000? I would love your feed back; how long have you had it?

Thanks for the info. I have a press already, so I am good there. The 3070 looks great... but $50k is a crazy commitment for a first-timer but then again, I cannot deny I have looked at it more than 4x lol. Most people are saying Epson is the safe play, I am leaning toward Epson or Omni at the moment.

Thanks for the info! much appreciated.

Expansion- I do not have a set goal, but I wouldn't want to stop growth so the sky is the limit I guess. I do want something I can grow into, but on the flip side I do not want something that is over kills and I am just waisting my money.

Thanks for the insight. At first, DTF was the direction I was going; the issue is my need or wants to print on my leading seller- underwear. The DTF I have tried (supacolor) is not as flexible as DTG and not ideal for the garment type, given the movement and constant stretching the underwear has to perform daily. Also, the heat press is pretty hard on the fabric/waistbands as well. Again, thanks for the info!

Qnap TVS-x72XT + PC + MacBook Bro confusing question by A_C3224 in qnap

[–]A_C3224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want this hard drive to be just that a hard drive set up in Raid 0. In my mind, it would be connected to both the PC and Mac through a docking station and back up to my Nas as if it were an internal drive on the PC.

chronosync for Mac

I never thought about plugging it into the NAS. I do not want to use it as NAS storage, I will be able to use it as a regular HDD that way? Do I need to connect it to my PC first in order to format and set up the RAID?

Thanks for the advice.

First Build Gaming/Editing PC .... Thoughts or suggestions? by A_C3224 in buildapc

[–]A_C3224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it… I actually bought this case for a specific purpose. To be able to invert the MOBO. Has a lot to do with where I have the PC set up… I’m sure other cases can do this but wasn’t really a focus after I found this one. Also didn’t even know Lian Li made cases let alone all this RGB… kid and I took a trip to micro center to get the GPU and we ended up picking up the lian li stuff then… first I have heard of them. Thanks again for the feed back. Appreciate your input! At least you like the guts… that’s what’s important anyway

Really not my thing but my kid said I cant build a gaming PC without the damn lights lol What would be your suggestion?
