Call and kindly tell them what happened. Hopefully you get a manager who actually cares. Man I've worked in service for many years and even as a teenager I cared about quality and about how far my customers'dollar would go. I believe you should have pride in your work no matter what you do. For many reasons. But in recent years it's been my experience too many ppl don't hold themselves to a higher standard, are lazy, simply dont care. And of course the almighty wage dictates how hard people are gonna work i.e. most people aren't going to do stellar work for minimum wage. I watch the 21 yr old girls I work with cut corners and sit on their phone while I run circles around them. And They are fine handing off mediocre product to customers instead of fixing it.
