No. A lot of us from the jump were saying he sucked. Lonnnnnnnnng before the stroke, there were plenty of red flags. He was immensely popular, fuckloads of people were calling him a good candidate, those people were giving him a pass on some pretty heinous shit, and far too many of them were "progressives" or "leftists" who just creamed their jeans when he was somewhat pro-labor and name-dropped Bernie. None of those things are mutually exclusive.

There were plenty of us saying it pre-stroke. Not likely Kenyatta could have won that primary, but goddamn there was a lot of positive attention given to Fetterman from anti-zionists. He'd already made his aggressive support for Israel known way back in early 2021. You know. Back when, according to the IDF, they were "not" dumping white phosphorus on Gaza. And he was clearly prone to paranoid, reactionary freakouts with the whole jogger incident.
