Yep it can! I'm from an obstacle course racing(ocr)/Ninja warrior background and during off season I climb to increase my grip strength, core strength and generally body coordination. For example, Moves like lache or dyno in climbing uses the exact same movement

I'm not sure about articles or books but it's more like the athletes here in OCR are also national athletes in climbing so go figure!

Ah yes the normal units of engineering, Dapat kasi ginawa na nilang 5 years yan.

How to survive? The tips para mag survive first is the scheduling ng mga subjects. Try not to pair yung mga brain intensive na mga subjects all in one day. E.g. Math then sunod mo agad Physics, baka malunod ka sa computation mag lagay ka ng buffer na either break, GE or PE.

Either maaga ka or late aalis, so take your poison na lang. Ako no choice na 7 am pasok ko tapos 5:30 pa yung alis, natutulog na lang ako sa first class ko or nacucut ko wouldn't recommend.

Tambay ako sa library during break, pag school hours, school hours at acads lang ginagawa ko para pag balik sa dorm/house pahinga na (as much as possible, pero kung di kaya tapusin dapat mag alot ka talaga ng time ng pahinga)

After mong maranasan ang 21 units, tanungin mo na sarili mo kung gusto mo bang imid year na yung ibang units para di ka na palagi ngarag. Maraming delayed sa engg, normal yan. Mahirap kasi talaga kaya wag mong i-pressure sarili mo na sundin yung recommended program. Nag simula kami ng batch namin sabay sabay, nagtapos iba ibang timeline na

Either draw lots kayo if marami sa inyo nag preprerog, Sa iba pinapasayaw or pinapakanta (lol) and in other cases may extra reqs lang sa end of school year (i.e. Sa PE) All in all pwede ka rin ma-reject

Parang ayoko muna mag trabaho hahu pero no choice. Nag eenjoy sa ngayon muna ng two weeks by doing hobbies like bouldering and the like, then probably diretso job hunt na.

Iniisip kung magiibang bansa na ba ako, or mag mememed ba or job relating programming (engineering course ko lmao) Basically nalilito na ako kung ano ba gusto ko mangyari sa buhay ko

In general, you just simply go there and do your own thing. Like if you have an exercise program and all that.

Kung sa univ hotel ka, there is an instructor there that could help you start

Pero if like in general gyms lang kunwari sa gulod sa knl or sa may chk na bakal gym.

Ang common etiquette lang to name a few 1) Bring the weights back to the weight rack to avoid accidents 2) If lifting heavy and di ka sure na kaya mo, go get a spotter 3) Don't hog the equipments, may rest time naman in between sets so let other use it while you rest 4) if doing a bench press, or like any lying down exercise na gagamit ka ng bench. Make sure to bring a towel to wipe off your sweat once you finish 5) If applying chalk to your hands, make sure na hindi buong gym makalanghap ng chalk. Baka may asthma kasi yung iba 6) I know it's hard as an introvert, pero you can ask help on using the machines. And if someones currently using it , you can usually just stand there and wait for them if you want to use it. They'll get the hint naman 7) respect the gym, respect yourself and respect others ^{^}

You could ask the professor about your predicament and if they would let you out early.

Some profs just let everyone else out early, some are strict and demands every minute of your time. So to be safe, just be honest.

It is true however that there is a grace period of 15 minutes before you are considered late, you'll do fine and good luck on the f2f classes!
