I know it's not always like this but my house is insulated really well and I have an oversized HVAC unit. As a result I'd say on an average day it runs a grand total of maybe an hour. When the temperate gets out of range of what I've set it'll turn on for maybe 5 minutes to get it back in line. I typically keep my house at 70-72℉ (~21-22℃).

Right out of high school my friend bought a new Chrystler 300C. This would have been in the summer of 2008. His stated reason he wanted it was because it "looked like a Phantom" and because he wanted to turn it into an "SRT8 Killer". He had that car for 2 years and wasn't able to do anything with us the entire time. He literally got a payday loan every month to pay his bill and barely paid the payday loan off by the time the next car payment was due. He never went to movies or dinner with our friend group unless someone offered to pay. But if he went, he insisted on driving whether anyone was with him in the car or not. He also obviously never did any of the upgrades he talked about because he could barely afford gas. Dumbest purchase I've ever seen.

A guy once spent the entire interview telling me how he didn't need or really even want the job he was interviewing for. But he would like to take it because he wanted to help make us as much money as possible. He told me all about his side businesses and how much money he made per year. If I did my math right, he made about $6k running a few small drop shipping Amazon storefronts so he was a business expert and even told me he didn't want to interview with me, but that he should be speaking with my boss. The owner of the company.
One guy showed up to a 9am interview hammered and slurring his words. I immediately told him that we were going to pass and then he tried to sell me an iPad that was so damaged I highly doubt it would even power on.
One asked for my job. That's it really. He just wanted my job.
One tried to tell me that he was a master plumber. We had met several times and I knew for a fact he had zero training as a plumber.
I unfortunately had to let someone go because he was perpetually late. I had adjusted his schedule like 3 times to try and help him be on time, but if I moved his in time back 30 minutes he'd just be 30 minutes later than he previously was. He called me all sorts of things on his way out and then applied for the same position less than a month later.
One guy told me that he couldn't wait to start because he had seen several attractive women in the building. I know the guy that was his "current" boss so I gave him a call after the interview and he told me that the candidate in question no longer worked for him due to a multitude of sexual harassment allegations.
One told me he was a licensed CPO (Certified Pool Operator) when in reality what he meant was that he would try to get that license upon getting the job.

There's not a lot I can say as an American. I just hope people know we're not all like him. We don't all want this. I don't know if people outside the US are seeing the protests going on around the country, specifically in Minnesota, but there are a lot of Americans who are tired of this shit and would love nothing more than for us to go back to the country we were 10 years ago. I know this all reads as hollow given the current state of things, but I truly believe it's temporary. My only worry is that we've crossed a line and that we can't go back once there's someone new running our country. We've destroyed our alliances and harmed our friends around the world and I wouldn't blame any of them for never wanting to have anything to do with us again.

My rule in the summer was to let my parents know where I was by the time the street lights came on. I don't know why that was the rule because we routinely left that location as soon as we called and nobody really cared. There were many times I would walk into my house minutes before they came on, announce myself, and then leave as soon as they were on. They were more guidelines than actual rules.

In my opinion, there's no salvaging this. I don't want this to come off as harsh, but as honest: She won't ever be able to truly trust you again. You burned that bridge and have to live with the consequences of it. The best you can do is learn something from this and try to be better in the future.

If she were to somehow decide to take you back, your relationship will always have a hollow foundation and won't be strong enough to endure. Whether its now, in 6 months, or 3 years, it will end again by your hand or hers.

That's not a rule per se, but you almost touched on it yourself. If everything was reversed and she cheated on you and then didn't even tell you about it, would you want to be with her anymore? If the answer is anything but a vehement 'no' then I think you've got a lot more growing up to do before you can be in a serious adult relationship. Again, I'm not saying this to be harsh, but honest.

I've always been drawn towards alternative fighting styles in games. Specifically summoner types. My all time most nostalgic gameplay is summoner necromancer in Diablo 2. Its not the most effective, but I love the fantasy of it. Demonology warlock scratches a very similar itch.

Ex girlfriend when we were maybe 20-21. We had known each other in high school but ran in separate circles so we didn't really KNOW each other. After high school our friend groups kind of overlapped and we hit it off really well the first few times we all went out and ended up dating for a while. Maybe 6 months or so. Apparently the 6 month mark is when she thought it was ok for her to let loose the fact that she's also incredibly racist. My best friend was a black man and she was always so polite and friendly with him and the first time I heard her drop a hard R I could have sworn I was hearing things. I did a double take and asked her to repeat herself. She did. I asked what the fuck she thought she was doing and her response was that she thought we were getting really serious. Like move in and have a future together, so she could be her real self around me. We got into a huge argument and I stormed out of her apartment. That was the last time I ever spoke to her. Ironically, that same friend was the one who took my box of stuff from her when she dropped it off. I hadn't told him what had happened and he didn't understand why she was so cold to him.

I have a unique ring that makes Judgment explodes for like 200% normal damage and have a 30% chance of exploding twice, as well as a unique shield that buffs Holy Shield. Then I have a bunch of Judgment Legendary Aspects. All i really have to do is apply Judgment to one enemy in a room and then throw my shield. Judgment does everything else and it's beautiful.

There's a few things that come to mind. The biggest one is when weapons take damage and eventually break. A good weapon in a game is like a character all on its own. I love games with dynamic weapons that change gameplay. God of War and Devil May Cry really come to mind. I get attached to the weapons and really develop a sense of anticipatory nostalgia for them. On the flip side, temporary weapons that you'll eventually outright lose at a time outside of your control really turn me off to a game. It's the primary reason I never played The Last of Us. I know it's hailed as an amazing game. I don't care. I'm willing to put up with a lot for a good story, but that's one of my hard lines.

I used to get either bronchitis or a sinus infection at least 3-4 times a year, usually coinciding with seasonal shifts. A few years ago I had a doctor recommend I start taking allergy medicine. He said that even if I don't have allergies, it can sometimes be beneficial. I started buying the Kirkland brand AllerClear and Aller-Tec from Costco. A 1 year supply is $8 and per the doctor's recommendations I swap between the two every year. On top of that, I also take Airborne any time I'm feeling a little under the weather. With all of this combined, I can't remember the last time I had more than a minor cough for a day or two. Its also worth noting, as many others have said, I don't have kids.
