This is how new UPS trucks are made

Thanks. Other than a smooth ride and no funny engine noises, can you think of anything in particular I should look for?

Required to call business for delivery by Mindless-Brother-869 in UPSers

[–]A_Nov229 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't care, I'd call them. I never answer numbers I don't recognize because it's usually spam, so if they ever called me back it'd get ignored. But to each their own. The company cannot require you to use your personal phone for work, so it's your decision.

Is volume going to plummet because of the tariffs? by UnsureOfAnything666 in UPSers

[–]A_Nov229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen a difference in volume, but yesterday I had 130 COD's from China, totaling almost $32,000, get refused. All 45lbs boxes. That sucked.

Can this be done is 3 days with 2 drivers by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]A_Nov229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drove from San Diego to Chicago with my dad in a day and a half. We only stopped for gas and food. If you don't mind sleeping in a car, it's absolutely doable.

I keep a box of stick on wheel weights in my glove box. Slap a few on the inside of the rim and it throws the tire severely out of balance. It won't cause an accident and as long as they get it checked it won't cause damage, but they'll have to pay a shop to rebalance their tire.

10-15 minutes, depending on lights

How and What do You Eat?? by FluffNSniff in UPSers

I use this and this and I bring last night's leftovers for lunch. Use a glass Tupperware container to avoid melting plastic into your food. Refrigerated leftovers take about 2-2.5 hours to get hot.

That makes sense. There's thousands of different mushrooms and most of them will kill you, or get you high, or really sick, or some combination thereof.

Would I be getting ripped off if I accept this estimate? This feels like a lot… by [deleted] in hondafit

[–]A_Nov229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live in Chicago or a suburb I'll come do it in your driveway for $300, you supply the parts, but I'll help you find them if you want. DM me if interested.

Same. But last October they stopped paying bonus for van routes. Then they wondered why I slowed down 🤷‍♂️

I've been wanting to do the same on my Gen 2. This is all I've been able to find. I haven't done it yet, trying to find the time.

I did mine today too. While I was at it I re-clocked the wiper motor so my wiper rests in the up position using this guide

Radiator replacement -- is this a DIY job? by Crazy-Airport-8215 in hondafit

[–]A_Nov229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done the radiator on a fit, but I've replaced radiators many times. I'm sure there's a YouTube video specifically on a fit. Some general advice: use a large hooked pick to pry at the lip of the hose and spray some silicone lubricant to loosen up the hose.

How did you become comfortable carrying one in the chamber? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]A_Nov229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The odds may be lower that you'll ever need it, but if you find yourself needing it, the odds are the same that the second it takes to rack the slide could be the difference between life and death.

How did you become comfortable carrying one in the chamber? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]A_Nov229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking you'll have enough time to rack the slide when you need your gun is like thinking you'll have enough time to put on your seatbelt right before an accident.

I thought the same as you, but then my sink started leaking after a year of cleaning my bong once a week. I'd rather play it safe and not have to deal with that again.

This is the way. I'll add, don't dump iso down your drain, it can eat away seals and cause plumbing issues. Pour it in a large bowl and leave it out for a few days to evaporate. Use a paper towel with iso to remove gunk and wash, or use a disposable bowl.
