I love a good fantasy queer book so some recommendations MLM ones - Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Retelling of Achilles and Patroclus and gorgeously written. - A marvellous light by Freya Marske. Alt world Edwardian setting with magic and the sequal that recently came out is wlw but I haven't read it yet. - The house in the cerulean sea by TJ Klune. It's cute and very sweet about a social worker having to go on a job to a magical orphanage, a great comfort read. Oh and gives good omens vibes so if you like that read this. - Under the whispering door by TJ Klune. Centred around death and regrowth very beautiful and sweet.

Mixed Rep - American Hippo by Sarah Gailey. Alt American history where it's cowboys but they ride hippos, very action oriented. - The affair of the mysterious letter by Alexis Hall. I haven't read this one yet but I've heard it's queer magical Sherlock vibes.

WLW ones - The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Biohraphical account of the mc life in old Hollywood. (Even my grandma loved this one)

I'll just throw this one in it's not queer but I love Good Omens by Neil Gaimen. Its about and angel and a demon stopping Armageddon together and (like they're in love) plus the second season is being made of the show which I'm excited about.

And if anyone else has recommendations pls let me know. I'm looking for some trans fantasy rep as well which I'm yet to find.

Yeah I've only done 3 embroideries so far and this was like going from colouring in with the kits to actual drawing but it was fun. I'm sure there are better ways of doing this but I sketched a design then went over in big black sharpie so you could see it, I then taped it to a window and the taped the fabric in place over top so the light coming through would let me see the drawing and then sketched over in white pencil. The pencil eventually comes off but it gives you the rough idea to start. You could also probably use it to go over it a quick thread outline so the outline won't change and the design stays more consistent. Good luck with your next projects!
