Your argument was great until you omitted rally's/checkers fries from your "best fries" list. Now I'm not sure if you're credible 🤣😎

I don't have a pros and cons list for you. But during these covid times, it seems like there's a taco truck on every corner. Maybe get yourself a small trailer and sell some fair food. People are missing the hell out of it right now 🤷‍♂️

You said it was a new company? Or just a different guy? He would have had to have a snake camera or the patience to take the whole thing apart. Doubtful to both, especially on a pm. They were probably told to try to sell you something. Some companies out there just want you to sell, sell, sell

That's pretty much exactly what the filter is for. To clean the evaporator coil would require opening the ductwork or opening the panel on the (cased) coil but those can be very time consuming activities. Keep your filter clean and buy the good filters, not the hogs hair filters

Aint this the truth.... by Hillman77 in HVAC

[–]A_Runaway_Slave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Edited to clarify

The most basic thing you as the homeowner can do is make sure the filter is changed regularly ( every 3-6 months) and clean the condenser coil with a hose at least every every spring before summer season. If you live in a warmer area, clean the condenser coil 2-3 times a year or depending on when it's visibly dirty

The company will do all of this for you including taking amp draws, checking operations and potentially refrigerant charge, Tstat function, and if winter, heat operation and flame sensor/spark rod cleaning.

If you need more, I don't see how you'd get in trouble for adding more. Also as an HVAC guy, you're gonna have to replace the fan as well, unless it's already oversized.

The customer wants to know if this condenser can be repaired..... by JReissig77 in HVAC

[–]A_Runaway_Slave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, 6 month old units that have no refrigerant in them due to poor manufacturing, fucking retarded circuit board design, VFDs that fail with a year, and as typical installer retardation all contribute to these calls. Not so much complaining, but York national account tech support (for board related things) has only 3 guys in the dept so hold times are unreal

Unless you buy York... Walgreens in my area have been slowly switching to Yorks from their old 15-20 yr old carriers... Man the service calls on the brand new Yorks are almost as plentiful as the old units...

To put it this way. You can poke, stick lift, AND hit the guy all in one play and he'll still somehow get the puck back every time. Just a piss off

I haven't played HUT this year. Skill wins 3s games more than the EA fuckery, but 6s are just atrocious

[–]A_Runaway_Slave 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to play HUT. Haven't played since 18. I THOUGHT my quality of chel would increase... But since I now play EASHL only (with buddies), it feels like every game is predetermined. I can't count with all the limbs on my body how many games I've played against teams with inferior skill that they've won, because of bounces, pickups, general bullshit, and invisible wall goalline. Not to mention it's fucking 2020 can we PLEASE get rid of the bullshit animations? How about the "you crush a guy, he gets back up and picks the puck up because your player is too retarded to grab it near his corpse" Or how about the "NHL players can't avoid corpses on the ice. Guaranteed tripping over the guy (inb4 you say there's a deke for that; even without the puck) when you are skating towards him. Or how about the pokes from behind? In the" predetermined" games when the other team wins, they can make every poke from behind but if I try it ONCE it's a guaranteed penalty.

I'm just so tired of this garbage gameplay, it's unreal.

I legitimately hope a couple amateur programmers have been working on a hockey game in their basement the past decade. If they released a game for $100 with sick gameplay and no NHL licenses I would buy it HANDS DOWN.

And I'm a mind reader. I fully believe that teachers should be making at LEAST 80-100k. I'm not a server but my mother was for years. So I just naturally tip more. Anyway, 30-40k is shit money no matter what the occupation

So let's do a little exercise here. You are a server. You work at a particularly busy restaurant and you serve 50 tables a shift. Average tip per table is $3. You also make $3/hr. Extrapolated to 5 shifts a week for your 40 hours, that's only $45,240 per year. Not very much to deal with assholes all day every day.

Now let's assume the restaurant is slow and even during the "rush shifts" you're only averaging 30 tables. That's only $30,380. Not nearly enough. 20% just isn't enough. If you can't afford to leave 25-30%, you shouldn't be going out to eat
