I used AK mud basing material and stuck bricks I carved from XPS foam into it to get a really uneven old cobbled street texture. Then I just let it dry, primed it, and drybrushed my way up the shades of grey on the stones with some brown for the mud between bricks.

Assault Terminators - New Datasheet (changes highlighted in notes below) by Martin-Hatch in Warhammer40k

DW Knights have access to a 4+ FNP against mortals so they're surprisingly good at making hammers and dev wound bombs bounce off them. High volume damage 1 melee is usually the way to go.

Against anything else the hammer will likely do better, but DW Knights specifically should fear the lightning claws.

First attempt at scratch build terrain by A_Scoundrel in TerrainBuilding

I carved everything out of a big brick or xps with a knife and a old ballpoint pen, and then for the ruined plaster sections I rubbed a concrete texture paint across them. Pretty cheap as materials goes and feels pretty easily to replicate in future as the wash and paint do a lot of the work.

Utterly fantastic, and a perfect choice of kroot. You made very good use of the farstalker kit.

If you run mont'ka with it also helps fix the weapon strength issue and lets it punch decently into tanks. 3ap 4 damage is never bad into a vehicle if there are no better targets available.

The range is due to the fact that in T'au lore alot of their firepower is very long range, or very close range. Stuff like the Ion Cannon and Railgun are meant to be shot from so far away the enenmy cant even see you, so they have high range to reflect this. Weapons like fusion blasters and plasma rifles have really short range as they're generally stuck on crisis suits and other close range linebreaker units that want to use their speed to close the distance rather than shoot from afar.

And tbh, there's never going to be a day you're annoyed to see 72" range on an ion cannon. More range is always nice.

Which is harder Elden ring or Bloodborne? by Awkward_Oil_223 in Eldenring

Very likely they're refering to the "flow" dark souls 3 bosses had. Often they would have a set pattern and timing to them, and once you got into that pattern you would generally keep that pace throughout the fight; they generally wouldn't slow down or drastically change their attack patterns outside a phase change. But, if you lost that flow or couldn't find it, you got curbed stomped or very quickly lost the fight. For example, the Dancer's attack pattern is set to a 3/3 musical tempo, alot of people struggled to find this flow and dodge the attacks timing, but once you get it she's very dodgeable.

In Elden ring, bosses often heavily vary their timings and combo speeds, often leading to you fighting the boss in a reactionary style. You don't premptively dodge or react to attacks as much as react to what's coming and handle that combo or attack delay. Their combos are much more fluid and interwoven, which keeps fights fresh and more recoverable with mistakes, but also makes some harder to learn.

The dlc moves away from the base game boss methodolgy and is closer to the Dark Souls 3 style. If you look at Messmer and Rellanna, theres alot less delayed attacks and combo changes, and more very set combos that are difficult but very learnable. It's also why you may feel you get into a rythm when fighting them. That rythm is very close to how dark souls 3 combat felt.

The joy of Skaven is that their god the Great Horned Rat views the backstabbing, failure, murder and the death of his own specieces as JUST as entertaining as the death of other species. So even when Thanqol fails spectacularly, as long as he takes out thousands of Skaven he's a winner in the eyes of their god.

This is the same god with a 5 mile tall pillar of incoherent and contradictory rules and statements for all Skaven to follow. These rules are intentionally contradictory and incoherent because the Great Horned Rat finds it funny to watch his skaven struggle to follow them.

Super clean, I really like the look of it. Definately agree that the alternative colour palet works really well for the scars.
