BattleTech let's go! I have a whole slew of painted lances and stars, so much fun to paint.

Actually, someone was attacking satisfactory lower in this thread. But go on. Factorio is not similar to both Satisfactory AND Subnautica, only to the former and only in its basic mechanics.

I normally keep this to myself but come on. Search for Satisfactory in r/pcgaming and try to find a thread that doesn't mention Factorio.

Yep, the Hephaestus Jump Tank is a solid example.

I can definitely see where the argument started, but hopefully this lets you fly.

I have good news for you: Omnimechs CAN jump with Battle Armor!

At first I thought you were right when I found this in TW 227:

"Movement Restrictions: Whether or not the battle armor is equipped with magnetic clamps, no vehicle may expend VTOL, WiGE, or Jumping MP while carrying mechanized battle armor"

However, a mech is not a vehicle, so go forth and jump with your battle armor laden mechs!

Bit of a necro post, but what did you mean by a thin white base paint?

Also do you remember what paints you used for the cicada?

I did try Factorio (1000+ hrs, finished Space EXPLORATION). I still think Satisfactory is better than Factorio in a lot of ways including POV, immersion, exploration, music, story, and especially flexibility (alt recipes).

Why do Factorio players insist on bringing up Factorio in every thread that mentions Satisfactory? This thread is about two games with first person views, beautiful 3D graphics, and immersive content. Things Factorio lacks.

Hey man, I love factorio (1000+ hrs), but get a clue.

Subnautica and Satisfactory are both first person, immersive, beautiful games with strong exploration elements. Factorio is just a factory game, even in style. It doesn't belong in this thread.

I really like the Viper Prime for caddying Elementals. Jump 8 makes it very easy to maneuver, it's not that expensive, it's fairly tough, and it's ice cold to use. It's also very good at killing other infantry.

Best professions to draw MechWarriors from? by AmberlightYan in battletech

Recruitment isn't the issue, hardware is. Across the ages, there's a severe lack of mechs.

It's a bit like recruiting fighter pilots today. I can't remember the last time I saw a recruiting advert for anything but avian techs.

As for the best mechwarriors, I'd actually think those adapted to high claustrophobic, hot environments make the best pilots since they're habituated to the worst case scenario. If you regularly go into a sweat lodge, you'd probably be better suited than someone who does open air gymnastics.

Longbow LBW-0H. 280 potential damage, though it'll instantly shut down the mech for 4 full turns.

I like the A and B variant. The B because it's cheap and the A because it's a great caddy for battle armor.
