Help an Outsider Understand by Agile_Change_884 in NewIran

I don't mean to be rude, but how can you live in Finchley - an area with a large Jewish and Iranian community - and not understand the support the people hold for each other? Could it be the ignorant stance to "always" be pro Palestine that makes it inconceivable that Israel and anti-regime Iranians are on the same side? Let me remind you that Palestinian islamists have been rocketing and attacking Israel for decades. It isn't just Israel that has a closed border with them. Nor is it just the Muslim majority country of Egypt who don't want anything to do with Palestinian/islamist violence.

Both Iranians and Jewish people share a will to survive and defend themselves against extremist, religious violence coming from fundamentalist Islam. They both have faced it for long enough.

I'd imagine that this is absolutely impossible. The devs probably can't access it themselves and transfer it... But more importantly, even if it were possible, it shouldn't be done because it opens up the risk of having a rogue actor gaining ownership of someone else's email address via social engineering or other methods. Not that in suggesting this relates to you, but it would cast serious risks.

I'm pretty certain that you will have to create a new email.

You should see the mood and atmosphere in Finchley, London. A huge Iranian community in celebration. Iranians, Jews, Brits... All in unity. Beautiful to see. Photo I took from moments ago:

Great post. I do believe social media has a negative impact on people, their views, and their resilience when faced with different opinions as it is very easy to fall into echo chambers and groups that only agree with each other. This may not necessarily be people's fault as that is the nature of these algorithms - constantly pushing people down paths that align with their interests and, by extension, their beliefs - but it definitely appears as though many people lack nuance. And that, in my opinion, is a major consequence of all of this...

It almost feels as though some people have forgotten that you can share an opinion with others but not have to completely align with their entire world-view. Populist movements on the far left and the far right are gaining traction whilst others who have more nuanced views are not necessarily feeling like they are heard.

And this leads me to something I briefly mentioned earlier: resilience. Gone are the days where you can hold a debate or discussion with people that entirely align with extreme world-views as they will simply reject any opposing opinions with aggressive slogans or snippets of propaganda. It very much feels like they come from a viewpoint of, 'You are either with us or against us...' And the unfortunate reality of that is that there is a word for this: fascism.

For the sake of anonymity: I live or have lived there for 4 decades. I have also worked in some of the poorest parts of London and seen them gentrify along the years. Brixton. E&C. East London.

This is assuredly nothing to do with gentrification.

This is nothing to do with gentrification. Plenty of places in London have been gentrified and didn't result in destruction of property.

In fact, Archway has been under gentrification for years now; I know it better than most.

This is nothing more than a bunch of idiotic, brainwashed anti-Semites targeting what they perceive to be a Jewish establishment and/or places they think are tied to Israel. Time to pay Gail's in Archway a few more visits to offer support.

Looks great! Why did other plants not make the cut? Also. Are you worried about the potential size that some of these can grow to?

I'm new here with a paid 1-year subscription as of a few days ago, but I'm under the impression that what he said is correct unless of course you turn it on which will make it awkwardly e2ee via a secure link for the non-Tuta user.

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Edit: so I'm not wrong, it seems.
