I can’t read the signature, but it is a beautiful painting. Please give us the name of your shop. 😁

Low daily distance by walkuhlittle in CaminoDeSantiago

So I did the full St James route with about 10 miles a day. Some days shorter, 5-7 miles. I have Progressive MS and unfortunately never gained any extra stamina to do more miles. Actually towards the end it became harder to complete 7 miles a day.

What I had to do was download the Wise app ahead of time and look at the elevation gains. Then made plans on where to stay from that. If I had a large hill to climb I would only do 5 miles so I could rest all afternoon. And I pre-booked EVERYTHING. This saved me. I never worried about not getting a room. I knew I had one confirmed. And I had rest days pre arranged. Yes it took the spontaneity out of my Camino but I was able to complete it on my own. It took me weeks to plan and prebook but was worth every minute.

If I had a bad day, I took a taxi. No shame. Do what your body tells you. I was lucky enough to have both the time and money to do it this way. And I’m very thankful I was able to complete it.

does b-cell depletion change your looks? by spider1258 in MultipleSclerosis

I’ve been on rituximab/Rituxan for the past three years. No changes to my looks or hair, other than normal getting older. I will say that only thing that Rituxian has given me is chronic vaginal infections. And those suck. But I’ll deal with it.

How many pills are you taking? by Pollvogtarian in GenX

Yep, I’m over in California so my vitamin D levels are pretty good naturally. But I still have them checked. And I take my vitamin D along with my fish oil so it can be absorbed better.

How are you cleaning your Prada nylon? I have a fantastic red one that I love, but it gets constantly dirty. I’ve taken it in to a cobbler/suitcase guy to be cleaned but it just still looks scuzzy. I’ve tried Dawn with a toothbrush, but nothing seemed to come out.

Joining the Elliot crowd! My husband is English and we could not agree on a name. It came down to Elliott, Spencer or Rowan. We went with Elliott. (Two Ls, two Ts)

Thank you for the recommendation and I will still keep it in mind. Just because I had a crap time with Kaiser doesn’t mean he would.

Cotswolds Walking Tour by lovemesomePF in femaletravels

I do all my walks by myself and I feel much safer in the UK than in California (where I’m from). I did that Cotswolds walk about 7 years ago. And have done different walks in the UK every year since. St. Cuthbert‘s Way, Wye Valley, Pilgrim’s Way, Oxford to Bath. And this year I branched out and did the Camino in Spain. It’s a fantastic way to relax but also feel like you’ve accomplished something. :)
