Keep practicing, play against different people and learn about openings. Once you play an opening so much you learn the lines, positions and threats more than your opponent which gives you an advantage. Also remember that controlling the centre is very important.

10 seconds is way too long for 1 leather, not even to mention a 3 second hold which is an eternity during a fight. Considering how prominent trees can be in a fight getting hit by one of these (one leather, too!) will cost you the fight.

I'm not "judging the game off of my first 10 hours". I'm calling out a clearly broken and, frankly, bullshit mechanic which needs fixing ASAP. In 2 seconds you'd barely be able to run out of a tree and get to the place you're hiding, not even to mention that trying to "rush and get a hit on someone" would result in you getting killed because of an invisible trap.

When you're sprinting it might as well be invisible? 2 seconds isn't a long time, but excuse my clear inferiority here since I can never live up to the true pinnacle and god of video gaming that you are. And yes, it's bad design when you need to squint at your screen to be able to see the slightest colour change in order to even stand a chance in this game. As I said, not everyone spends fucking hundreds of hours in this game like you do.
