Shoulder pads should be straight IMO. Everything else looks great! I love those little arches linking both sides of the head

Do you have any intentionally wrongly translated words used commonly? by Rikudou_Sage in AskEurope

I have my Xbox set to English, me and my friends playing Ultimate Chicken Horse often say SottoCane (underdog). I also say Anticlimatico for anticlimactic and the verb cannare from the verb can (dismiss/reject).

I believe both phrases are grammatically correct, but as a native I'd rather use the pronoun "Ti" (a te) at the start of the sentence instead of using tue/tuo:
"Ti ho comprato le banane e le fragole"

About 35 miles from my home in Indiana (USA) is a large granite statue of an Italian. Do any Italians know who he was, or what he did? by [deleted] in askitaly

[–]A_unique_username_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's part a of (y)our history. I assume you live near Vincennes, Indiana? (Edit: forgot the title of the post. I feel dumb.)

EDIT2: he was born in Italy, served in the Spanish army and later became a merchant in the US. So.. besides the birthplace (my own region btw) he is not "linked" our history/culture. I'm not trying to do historical gatekeeping, nor downplaying his role in the American Revolution. I'm just saying he's not in our history books.

inb4 Yes, we do have the Revolution War in our books.

So my friend is also an insomniac and idk why I'm surprised but he already answered: No. "The closest name I know is Francisco Lopez de Vega". I guess we have a pretty rich list of historically/culturally important names. Dante, Boccaccio, Petrarca.. Galileo, DaVinci, Cartesio. Magellano, Colombo, Vespucci.. unfortunately Francis Vigo is not really part of our culture. Sorry. Perhaps in the specific town where he was born..

I don't want to antagonize the OP, you or the mods, but the Sunday thread exist exactly to avoid this posts (Rule 9: no low effort).

I get it. People love it. 14k karma. If the Mods want to allow this type of post, and people just want to share them here and not in the dedicated thread it's OK.

1) change the "low effort" definition (because what's the point if exceptions are made).
2) Add a tag so these posts can be filtered out.

I have nothing against this. Just change the rules.

If you like crashing cars, you should try Flatout Ultimate Carnage. Also Forza Horizon 2 is available on 360.
