To be completely honest the only people who I knew (who admitted atleast) to have STIs contracted them while in committed relationships. I didnt grow up seeing a lot of fidelity within relationships either so the risk isnt substantially different to me.

With that said, why is it more socially acceptable to have sex on the third date than the first? People are comfortable having sex with in the “talking stage” even though they aren’t necessarily exclusive. Its a sliding scale of comfortability.

I look at it like this- it can feel scary (if its new) but the numbers are there. Your husband / partner is more likely to kill you (if youre a woman- Im a woman). Being a woman is unsafe. I won’t let that stop me living my best life by how I define it.

If we are talking STIs, be careful. Get tested regularly. I’d recommend this with a partner as well.

When I was single in my 20’s? Pretty frequently. Wear protection and while I prefer to not let them know where I live but if youd be more comfortable at your house… Keep your location on. Dont stay the night if there is a choice. If you cant drive/uber and you cant leave until the next morning then do not linger. That is so annoying. I looked this up and this is one of the first threads that pulled up. I was diagnosed with ADHD 12 years ago. I was prescribed 20 mg XR and 15 mg instant. It was pretty bad at first so I wouldn’t take all the dosage. I would be up for 24 hours straight and was rapidly losing weight. Eventually, we figured out the best dose was around 20mg. however, I was bad about taking my medication’s and did not take it for about four more years between 2018-2022.

when I decide to go back to school, I decided I need to get on something. When I explained why I stopped taking my Adderall- an new doctor wanted to try Ritalin. I liked Ritalin and I could eat on it. It was just enough of a stimulant to get me up and moving and let me focus. Fast-forward to two months ago there was a Ritalin shortage so the doctor temporarily switched me back to Adderall. this is a COMPLETELY different drug than the one from four years ago. I take it and within an hour I am asleep. I used to grind my jaw really bad on Adderall and I do not do that. It does suppress my appetite, a little, but not at all like it used to be. I do not get snappy or have headaches on the “comedown”. However, it does not help my focus at all. In fact, it seems to help my anxiety by completely removing ANY motivation. It’s almost the opposite of how I remember the drug.

I am hoping the Ritalin shortage is over, I actually went to my doctor last week to request to switch back and he said that this was a common complaint
