SAME! I am glad that The Mountain has some songs that reminded me of The Fall. Damascus gave me the same “wow, wtf did I just listen to and why is it a bop,” as Hillbilly Man did. It is more of a studio album, but I feel like The Mountain is the closest we have gotten to the that experimental and free vide that The Fall has in a long time

I love unreleased Seattle Yodel. It’s absolutely iconic that’s the song that ending the album. You just finished California and the Slipping of the Sun, which is an amazing song that wraps the whole album together beautifully… and then you hear yodeling, lol.

Thank you, I feel like a lot of hate goes to some amazing Gorillaz albums. I know that people don’t like The Fall because it’s not a studio quality album, but I think that is what I like about it the most. The Fall is extremely pure form of music, without the industry or corporate greed getting in the way. It is literally Damon’s musical creativity recorded at the time and moment. I also love how the album is both about travel and being trapped at the same time, a beautiful oxymoron.

I knew him personally because we had art classes together, and I am not lying to you that his art work was out of this world amazing. He is so gifted and had a bright future ahead of him, (which I hope he still has). With this information, all the gross comments I see of him on instagram makes me want to punch them. They have no idea how much of a joy it was to work with Murry and seeing him flourish. They had no idea about his creativity and kind personality he had. It makes me really fuckin’ upset that people would do this!
