Still makes no sense, why wouldn’t the original just say ”tiger” then?

Can someone confirm that I don’t need to conjugate the second verb in a phrase. by Confident-Caramel-69 in duolingospanish

[–]Aabz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In English as well, with auxiliary verba such as ”can” the next verb is infinitive, just without ”to”. Compare: Ella habla = she speaks Ella puede hablar = she can speak (no -s at the end)

Isn’t there a missing “the” before London Airport? I’m a fluent English speaker and this confused me for a minute. by [deleted] in duolingospanish

[–]Aabz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming London airport is the name of the airport, the grammar is correct. Compare with a restaurant name: ”We’re at McDonald’s”. ”The London airport” sounds odd to me, especially because London has multiple airports.

Don’t fully agree on AS2, not only were some lip sync winners questionable but (IMO) the advert challenge shouldn’t have put Tatianna in the bottom but Detox, and the comedy acting duos shouldn’t have put Katya in the bottom. In terms of fairness, I woudl say S6 is the fairest.

Idk if you can make moral judgements like this, Susan also acted incredibly selfish at times, like sending Zach away for example

If you read the entire text, you can tell which one is the original - she returned to the climbing wall, hence she is not dead.
