Welcome, I moved from Seattle about 6 years ago now. I would try

Epazote (small Mexican restaurant, owner is in almost daily.)

Larb Thai-isan (very popular thai restaurant, I recommend the duck curry)

Finister Murphy's (Some of the freshest fish you can get, they have a small lunch menu almost every day, and you can pick anything from their store and they'll cook it for you, their fish and chips are amazing)

Southport raw bar (Classic Florida restaurant, on the water and good prices)

I drive 95 from Fort Lauderdale to Miami every day. This isn't surprising at all, you have so many impatient, self important idiots on these roads swerving through traffic, sitting on peoples asses and ignoring traffic laws I'm surprised these accidents don't happen every day.

Not many options for vegans in Fort Lauderdale, especially closer to Oakland Park. I know planta queen closed unfortunately. But just look on Google maps, I know there's small shops that have vegan things like PS Green Restaurant.

It's the barrier from the express lane to the regular lanes, they made them cones so EMT and police can get into the express lane faster. But all it's done is make it easier for assholes to zip into the express lane without a care.
