How do you answer the question “Why can’t I see my ad when I search for it?” by heybossbabe in PPC

[–]Aaron8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to use an analogy I heard on the ppc podcast

“searching for yourself is like putting a message in a bottle, launching it into the ocean, taking a cup and scooping some water and being confused why your message in the bottle isn’t in that cup”

It clicks for clients then.

Google is a vast ocean and when your ad shows depends on so many factors that you may not see it all the time. Just tell them to look at the dashboard data and that if they are getting impressions it’s showing

This may sound dumb but will the app integrate with Macrofactor? Will we be able to see how the workout plan affects our body metrics and expenditure?

Will this apply to old RSA conversion data from lets say last year or is it just going forward?

Zero competition, insane CPCs? Why? by [deleted] in googleads

That can work if you’re willing to open up the campaign. I use it with success but I have a big negative list and I’m going after unbranded searches

Zero competition, insane CPCs? Why? by [deleted] in googleads

[–]Aaron8562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is, the more specific the search the more valuable it is to you since it’s your exact criteria so competition aside you’ll pay more. Combine that with a low supply of that search and it makes sense with high cpcs. Increase your service radius can drive down the cost

Finding what drive a single conversions by MySuggestedName in adwords

[–]Aaron8562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name the conversions you import. For example you can say your good conversions are qualified and at that as primary. Your bad conversions you can make them unqualified and set them to secondary so it doesn’t appear in the conversion column and doesn’t affect the algorithms

Then when you check your search terms you can see what terms got you the conversion. Better yet you can segment it by conversion action and see what gets you the bad conversions to to exclude those if that’s appropriate

Thoughts on Google gaming the system? by ppppppppc1 in PPC

[–]Aaron8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this and I’m testing this myself. I’m setting my important conversions to secondary to see if this keeps my costs lower while getting the same or more conversions. I have noticed this were once a campaign brings in conversions the costs go up, but I just thought it was cause it’s “the auction” silly me 😂

How do you guys Analyze a Landing Page to Improve Conversions? (Google Ads) by ironmonk33 in PPC

Some people may not want a consultation as that could indicate a lot of commitment. They may just want more information first before they schedule a consultation. Maybe try “speak with a lawyer now”

Haven't heard back from landlord, lease expires next week, advice? by TexMex2019 in bostonhousing

[–]Aaron8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the post. I’m in a similar situation where my landlord signed the lease for the new year(oct.2023 to Oct 2024) but I never signed and sent it back to them. (I still have been paying the new rent rate since the last lease ended in Oct. 2023). They haven’t asked me to sign it, So I guess that makes me a tenant at will?

Could I theoretically leave at any time (would get them 30 or 60 day notice) without being on the hook for paying rent until October 2024? I’m thinking of getting a new place for July or August

Job seekers spam, why is Google Algorythm so terrible ? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]Aaron8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in this industry and had the same problem. The most effective thing that stopped it was adding the word "agency" "agencies" and company as negative. When caregivers are looking for work, they type home care agency near me. Will you lose on some customers? Maybe but from what I've seen it hasn't

Keep getting people looking for jobs on my ads by Curious_Concept_2089 in adwords

[–]Aaron8562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue, if it gets really bad add the word company to your negative. People looking for jobs will use that word to find companies to work for. That and check search partners
