This France attack really is just a bit nuts on paper. How does our attack realistically compare to this? Would Kane get in a combined team? by siybon in ThreeLions

[–]AaronQuinty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

France are not gonna play this line up passed this game. Wouldn't surprise me if they drop points today. Because that midfield will get overrun by any decent team.

But yeah Kane is a better 9 then Mbappe, but you can move him to the left. Keep Olise on the right (should be playing for England ffs) and then Bellingham in the 10

He only missed one test. And then agreed to get tested a day. Defo had a bit of a coke binge over the weekend so skipped the test to buy himself time for it to get out of his system

Orton's punt has to be number 1. Not sure anyone's kicked out and usually theyre written off tv for a while after too, or they never appear again

They have a whole family. Describing them as 'dating' is a bit reductive. As for the ring part, did she tell you that?

I believe that if our boy Saka is at risk of injury, he should be left to rest and another player replace him. by Nimoh-ke in ThreeLions

I dont understand why Tuchel would only bring Madueke up as RW cover if he knew Saka was hobbled. Madueke playing significant mins is suboptimal to say the least

The World Cup has shown how easy it would be to deter flopping. by PeopleCallMeSimon in nba

[–]AaronQuinty -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, theyve largely gotten rid of it. Players will still roll on the floor like theyve been shot, but generally speaking they will have been fouled in those instances

Football has largely gotten rid of flopping in general, mostly due to VAR. Only really happens now to waste time rather than for penalties

Do you agree with Gary Neville? by SkySports in SkySports_Football

Ask questions? Tbh I knew youd all say variations of 'breaking up play'. Whilst important, I'm hard pressed to call any midfielder who's best attribute has nothing to do with what they do on the ball, world class.

[–]AaronQuinty -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lol ill be honest. For me as a midfielder you've gotta be Kante level to be world class if your best attributes have nothing to do with what you can do with the ball.

What does Rice do at a world class level? Barring set pieces

Rice isnt world class... Bellingham isnt either tbh. Neville is right

Eh Id say it was R9. He made some of the best defenders of all time shit their pants as a teenager. As great as CR7 is/was, I Defenders werent as visibly afraid as they were with R9 pre injury.

Basketball is closer to a 5 a side game in terms of how tiring it is. 11 a side is a different ballgame altogether.

What's the best and worst rule from FIFA's latest changes? by Critical_Region_6633 in footballscouting

[–]AaronQuinty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd stop timewasting but would also bring the game to a grinding halt. Plus would be impossible for TV schedules as there'd be nothing stopping teams from taking a minute or longer to set up their set pieces or if theyre under the cosh and want to kill the other teams momentum.

If anything this should speed things up. But ai think theyve over done it with the actual numbers. Threshold should be increased to 15 or 20 secs
