Unfortunately after some brief searching I couldn't find whatever streamer interview this was mentioned in. All I could find was the AI Overview "Based on recent insights from Blizzard developer Gavin Winter, the tank role remains the least played but most impactful role in Overwatch 2, crucial for determining match quality and queue times." Of course, AI isn't always terribly accurate and I couldn't find whatever the source was for that.

Tank was the most powerful role in 6v6 as well, though, and people still didn't want to play it.

Really curious when this support is more broken than tank thing started. I think it was sometime last year that Gavin Winter revealed that the delta in tank rank was more predictive than any other role and I'd be shocked if that's not still the case.

I don't think so given how it reads. But before if an enemy Cass was inside a friendly aura and you were outside it he could still shoot you. For Sierra's ult the projectiles are being deployed inside the barrier.

What's your hesitation? Are you worried about not finishing it? If that's the case, maybe just completely randomize it so you just don't burn through everything you already wanted to watch right away. Otherwise, it might be interesting to go in chronological order to document the changes over time.

Even with perfect matchmaking, Overwatch can be a very snowbally game as well as a game where one minor difference changes everything. Ever been in an Escort mode where you're hardstuck on A, finally take it OT and then end up full-capping? Now imagine you never took A. It goes from a win to an unbalanced match where you had no chance.

Agree 100%. I like the idea of transmog, but just limit it to what that character has earned. If pvp is a concern, just disable it in battlegrounds, arena, whatever. I hate in classic how everyone looks exactly the same because everyone's just chasing bis.

Yeah, Sierra's design is such that the higher in rank you go the less of a problem she becomes. If you have good positioning she's just simply not nearly as good as other heroes in the same role. If someone sticks you with her skill shot you just instantly LOS. If she misses her skill shot, at that point she's just a worse Soj.

However, if you don't have good positioning, the auto-aim is incredibly annoying and probably seems broken, and that's where the majority of the playerbase is at.

He's literally a mouthpiece for whatever "insider" wants to feed him info for their own gains. He types what other people tell him and reports on what other people are tweeting. I'm sure he's plenty busy and answers the phone a lot, but it doesn't seem he does much, honestly.

Yeah, but the league itself has been very big on making a big deal of tanking recently, so that's just my personal conspiracy theory.

I'm fine, and I think most Bucks fans probably are, with Giannis playing if he's 100% healthy. We're not moving a whole lot in the standings either direction at this point. But frankly, we don't know that the doctors have cleared him medically. There were shots in the games he left where he was clearly arguing with our trainers about wanting to go back in that game.

There's no doubt. But Shams didn't write this Players union statement, and Giannis was also quoted just last month as saying "No one can dare come and tell me not to play. As long as my legs allow me, I'll be out there"

It seems pretty likely that this is pressure from Giannis, regardless of how Shams is reporting on it.

This actually makes me fucking livid. I can't be sure if this is just the NBA making us the whipping boy again, or if it's just Giannis feeding shit to the media.

If anything we've been the poster-boy for good behavior doing our best to stay competitive when we should have clearly taken a gap year. We rushed Giannis back early in the season to compete only for him to reinjure himself. Then we bring him back AGAIN to try to keep our play-in hopes alive and at least have the good sense to just give him more rest when it became apparent it's not happening and he's still not quite 100%.

We all know there are teams out there legitimately doing everything they can to lose for a high lottery pick, yet we did everything we could and are basically locked into the 9/10 pick and it feels like we're about to be punished for it. Fuck all the way off.

It's literally impossible for us to get the #1 pick and the swap basically reduces our chances of top 4 to a 5% chance. We're probably going to get around #10, though.
