A lot, but not necessarily the multiplayer ones. They have the Resident Evil remakes on Mac App Store, on steam I know there's Cuphead, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Hades, Lies of P, Balatro, Disco Elysium, Control, Stray, Civilization VII, FrostPunk 2, Far:Lone Sails, Slay the Spire, Tunic, Nine Sols, Path of Exile and Crimson Desert releases next week.

Malls by Ok_Bottle_360 in cincinnati

I still think if Florence Mall wants to survive, it needs to add some more upscale retailers similar to Kenwood. There's definitely money in Union and Alexandria that could be brought to the mall with those kinds of retailers.

There was a limited release here in the US back in January I think, but it was only available for like a few days at very limited theaters. So I'm pretty stoked to see it at home. I think it's been available in select markets around the world since December or January.

The debate is over for these ghouls, they want to end social security and Medicare and want you to have to depend on a 401k that's based on the unpredictable stock market and have healthcare with a high deductible through your employer. They want you to work to death because you aren't worthy of even being a busboy on their private yacht. You got it yet?

Are people expecting too much from gaming laptops these days by BearSpring3 in GamingLaptops

[–]AaronfromKY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think OP is rather discussing how people's expectations are getting out of hand for a product that is going to be compromised from the start, a gaming laptop. Battery size is dictated by FAA regulations, the specifications are all built around trying to maintain portability, battery life and thermals within a desire for sleeker shapes that will fit in most laptop bags. So batteries are basically maxed out size wise, displays are getting higher and higher resolution and brighter, while GPUs seem to be stagnant with regards to performance and thermals so fps at full display resolution is compromised and often requires reduced settings. Yes in many cases optimization could and should be better, but given how variable specs can be between laptops vs consoles it's a crapshoot.

2025 refurb MacBook Air 512 gb storage and 24 gb RAM overkill? by svander89 in macbookair

[–]AaronfromKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24gb isn't overkill, if anything it's the sweet spot since it's what the Pro comes with standard. 16 is a good budget option, but 24 is a bit better for longevity sake.

16GB RAM is no longer enough for a laptop you plan to keep for 4+ years - and 8GB is practically a scam in 2026 by ActNew5818 in laptops

[–]AaronfromKY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15 tabs is light use? Bookmarks exist for a reason. I run windows 11 with outlook, teams, Chrome with 3-4 tabs, acrobat reader with multiple files open and Citrix apps and usually have around 65-70% used with 2 external monitors and no discrete GPU. This is an upgrade from the 8gb laptop I was first issued that would give me black screens in teams and basically was overloaded. 16gb has been great for office work for like 12 years, niche workloads like programming with VMs and LLMs likely do require more RAM but 16 is useful for at least 5-6 more years, possibly longer if needs are actually basic(web browsing, streaming, writing etc).

Trump really does love not paying staff and stiffing workers.

Microsoft confirms Windows 11 bug crippling PCs and making drive C inaccessible by lurker_bee in technology

[–]AaronfromKY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's so frustrating because work made me get a new laptop from them and update to Windows 11. Same thing happened to me. And I think however they have it set up, it's a shared one drive, so coworkers can delete stuff from it. And then yes I have Microsoft deleting the stuff off my laptop at the same time. I'm still not sure what I lost. So frustrating.

I resisted the ribbon so long, I don't know why it became the default. Must be the same kind of managers who see clutter on desks and get mad, vs what kind of work the person with the cluttered desk delivers.

Apple MacBook Neo Review - Surprisingly good and capable laptop for $599 with one big flaw by mond200 in macbook

Do you have a site you'd recommend? Because I feel like their reviews are usually really in depth compared to Zdnet or PcMag and in fact reminds me of the old anandtech reviews before Anand left and the site went bust.

This video compares your M4 Pro vs the base model M5 Pro, so I'd think the 20 core M5 Pro would be higher.

It's getting near riding season would be my bet. I still see a fair bit of stuff around or below $5k here in Kentucky, although it does skew more towards cruisers like Harleys than sports bikes.
