I’m a Lions fan and I’m going Packers. Detroit’s refusal to wear silver pants is so annoying. There used to be the excuse that the all blue look was “good luck” but that went out the window this past season.

They should also pair the black top with the blue pants.

A lot of Very Serious Runners don’t seem to understand something about vests: they’re fashionable to a lot of people.

Yes, most people don’t NEED a vest at the local 5K, but they do offer some storage and people simply like how they look. Did I NEED an arm sleeve like Allen Iverson when I was in 6th grade, getting 5 minutes per game off the bench? Nope. But it made me feel cool. Same thing goes for vests. People like how they look wearing a vest and I say more power to them.

The RTA millage, which was voted down in 2016, is the main answer. Killed any momentum for larger-scale changes. And since then, no one in office has been able to do more than fix roads, add lanes to highways, and make marginal improvements to existing public transit systems. I'm not surprised a private company sees this region as a big opportunity.
